I can’t help but wonder how they could make MSG look anything like a wedding venue. I always figured she’d get married in a bucolic setting, by the ocean, in rolling hills etc.
I don’t understand this need for large weddings
I am wondering how much the whole shebang is going to cost NYC. Who thought that closing down msg was a good idea when there is an incredible amount of chaos already this weekend, and 102 degree weather, sigh

I think there are better uses for money. But also, this has been an event in the making since day one. And they are both beyond rich and also both give very generously to all kinds of causes.
I’m not even really a fan of either - I mean she’s fine and I respect her work and where she has got herself and also the positive vibes she has sent to girls and women around the world.
I look forward to seeing some spectacular photos eventually and would love to see the guest list!

I can’t believe that she’s getting married in MSG. Something certainly is happening there. I know there are lots of sensible reasons to marry there (secure for famous guests, no paparazzi), but she is such a romantic and I don’t think her lifelong dream was a wedding in a basketball arena.
Maybe this is just the first wedding. Perhaps they have something more intimate planned at a beautiful location in the future.
Dua Lipa and Callum Turner had a courthouse wedding in the UK then a big wedding celebration in Italy. Taylor and Travis could be doing something similar.
I’ve heard reports that it will not resemble a basketball arena - at all!
I’m wondering if the whole MSG thing is not going to be the wedding but some remote celebration for fans to throw people off track with a more intimate wedding in RI.
That’s what I think. I think they will be married elsewhere or maybe already are and that this is a big party.
I’m quite sure she can make MSG look beautiful. It’s still a no for me, dawg.

Some people want to celebrate their wedding with a lot of family and friends. They aren’t asking me to pay for it ( LOL) so I’m okay with them celebrating. TS is known to be VERY generous to others so good for her( and Travis).

I secretly think she will. My theory is this a smokescreen. The actual wedding will take place somewhere else and will be televised at MSG.
I hope I’m right because otherwise 
Rumors are that they are building a “massive castle” with extensive gardens inside. Although one would think Taylor could just buy a massive castle (unless she already owns one).
I would think if there are a lot of notable guests in that 1000 we should start seeing some paparazzi of them in NYC soon. And/or if fans were invited to be the 1000 with wedding at another location that would be a FRENZY. And I suppose the “1000” could be a cover up number yoo

Could you imagine shutting down midtown manhattan and paying OT for NYPD on a holiday weekend for a smokescreen? That would be the end of any popular appeal they had.

But you can’t buy the airspace over a castle so its more difficult to ensure no overhead drones, helicopters etc… I think it’s a bit crazy for the streets to have to be shut down in NYC but frankly NYC could have said “no”. The city doesn’t have to issue a permit. She asked and they are allowing. It is up to the city to ensure that the event does not cause to much interference or cost to its citizens. I assume they are charging her…which would be typical in my city for a private event but don’t know what happens there.
