Now that the EA/ED application deadline has passed, share updates here.
Daughter received an invitation to apply for Honors College and then a follow-up that she could be considered for Chancellor’s Scholarship. Not getting too excited either way, but anyone have experience with how many get this type of email/invite?
My daughter also received them. I’m not sure how they determine the recipients of the invites, but - based on most other schools - there is a threshold of GPA and/or test score and the invite goes to all that meet that threshold.

I got this last year. I didn’t end up applying because TCU was not one of my top choices. However, it means you are very likely to be admitted. Last year, there was no one who got these and was not later admitted.

Wow! That Dec 1 date is a full month early then online 1/1 notification for EA!
And that was shown at the school?

They do typically release mid-Dec, so a few weeks before the stated 1-1. 12/1 will be significantly earlier than recent years, if it pans out.
Yes we attended there TCU Monday on 11/18 and this was what they showed us during the session.

Thank you so much for sharing - would be welcome to cut the wait! Weird chart though as EA deadline was before 11/15 (I think - 11/15 was honors). Either way - awesome share and will wait for Sunday

Anyone else see or here anything about today potentially being the day for ED/EA besides the slide shown earlier? I believe the admission office was closed Wed-Fri so i am doubtful but who knows!

Wondering the same thing about ED announcements. Have seen lots of conflicting dates on when announcements will be made.

Based on this forum last year and previous year ED notifications, I am expecting decisions to go out Friday Nov 6 5 PM CT - do others concur? I assume the image shown this week that said Dec 1 was “week of” versus actual date. Good luck everyone and if you have different news or thoughts, please post.
