@plb675 Sorry to hear about that. I have heard mostly good things about the recruiters and my recruiter has been awesome throughout the whole process. Here’s to hoping you hear soon!

Well, I don’t have a recruiter, or at least I never talked to this woman before, but I am happy that I actually received an e-mail. So this person is supposed to be my recruiter? Her region is pretty far from where I am located.

Satelle, the job with your fraternal organization seems pretty amaing!! Good Luck!!

@Smarques - Thank you I’m happy that I’ll have the opportunity to work with students. And regarding your recruiter, recruiters are assigned regional placements - I was first contacted by the “Northwest” recruiter who is based in the Seattle region, even though my university was about 300 miles from that area.

I think the way that it works is that recruiters are assigned to specific schools to recruit, but they work out of that region’s offices. For example, my recruiter happens to be about 2 hours from my school, but their offices cover a huge area. At any rate, it’s definitely good to hear something. I’m so on edge right now that any email from TFA would probably give me a heart attack.

Ah!!! I got it!! Yep, that must be it, because I never heard of her… she must be far from my campus. What about the people that already graduated? they still have recruiter??

ONLY 5 MORE DAYS!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? such a long wait!

I’ve already graduated and I have a recruiter. I have a recruiter who works with professionals.

I’m a recent grad and I was assigned a recruiter. He got in touch with me as soon as I created my application and has been supporting me throughout the interview process. He isn’t affiliated with the school I graduated from or my region…I believe he is one of the recruiters who specifically handles recent grads.

Congrats to all the D5 applicants who made it to the next round!

Yay!! I made to the next round, DEADLINE 5!!!

Any tips on the phone interview are very appreciated!!!

Congrats bubblerj!

plb675, i know what you mean about communication… i had issues with TFA early on… MY PHONE INTERVIEWER NEVER CALLED ME!!! and i was so upset! I emailed admissions (they responded like 2 days later) i rescheduled it after like 30 mins when i realized i was never going to get a call but like they wasted my time and it was such an inconvenience. I thought it was so unprofessional, and like seriously all I have is an EMAIL ADDRESS to contact you??

anyway, i wouldn’t withdraw, just wait and see we only have a few days left.

Hang in there! 5 days go by really quick!!!

Seriously though, you all have a weekend and a couple days left. It’s going to go by wayyy faster than these last few days!

Thanks for the support. I am going to wait and see what they say. I wish have more belief in the communication system of TFA. I think all organizations should take constructive feedback from the end users and make adjustments to be more effective. Just my two cents. I’ll post as soon as I hear something.

After all of the drama and jumping through hoops today with TFA, my transitional funding status just changed to Complete. I am a bundle of nerves now.

Congrats buddy hang in there!

Satelle, your transitional funding showed complete though too, correct?

No, it did not. I didn’t submit it until February 26 so couldn’t really measure by that.

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss! I think he wrote this about the achievement gap ha
