I have a teacher who is being very arrogant and rude. He’s been unhappy this year because they altered the way world history/geography is taught and he ended up with the “stupid” kids, as he calls them. Anyway, my school has the policy of if you have A’s in the 3rd and 4th nine weeks, you are exempt from the final exam for that class. Last nine weeks I had a 97 in his class. Right now, I have a 60 because of ONE pop quiz. He only gives like 8-10 grades a nine weeks, and I don’t think I’ll be able to bring it up, even if I get all 100s on everything. He said his goal is to “make everybody take his exam.” He’s intentionally making the class harder than it needs to be, and is trying to drop our grades. What should I do? He’s done nothing but complain all year about everything.
Why stress over whether or not you take the final exam? If you’ve been pulling a 97 all along, it should be a piece of cake–with the exception of the material that was on that one pop quiz.
It’s the end of March. Maintain those grades, ace the final exam and get past this.
