@uchappytrain Will do! and I will be double rooming also haha

I will be looking to dorm as well! Primero Grove?

@omgitzchewy how do we know if we’re staying at primero grove or not? It didn’t give me an option… I just chose residency halls and on my contract it states “COED Floor , suite , two beds in room , Transfer Student ATP”

@omgitzchewey I heard that all transfers will be places at primero grove? I’m wondering what it looks like. I hope its a more traditional dorm.

so our housing payment is due june first right? on my application it says its due may first but i think that’s for freshman

I think so, mine actually says if i do installment options its $250 on May 1st and $250 on June 1st. Doesn’t make any sense cause thats coming up too earlier. For you guys, does it say suite style atp?

if you look at my post earlier mine says ATP & suite as well. I don’t get why anyone would choose the transfer apartments when the residency halls are basically apartments but theyre way cheaper. They have kitchens and bathrooms in the suites so we don’t have to use the nasty community bathrooms like the freshman do

im confused about housing, its not enough money to cover housing!!

@cosmicbubble what are you confused about? They estimated living costs at ~14k for me and my housing option was only ~11k

I’m excited to move in but I’m not sure If I should double room or single. Never roomed with anyone my whole life so hopefully I can adjust.

I can’t afford a single so I’m forced to do double. I hope I don’t get a messy person :/

I wonder if we’re allowed to have fish tanks?

Any cc members want to room? Lol

yeah are there any girls who want to pick each other as roommates? I’m funny and responsible and I hate messy rooms & i’m shy so I won’t bring people over & I have a bf i’m not a skank & I clean a lot. & I have my own mini vacuum & microwave
lol

@uchappytrain lmao that was the best questionaire i’ve ever read!

For those who want to get an idea of the housing, here are some videos

@purplehaze lol i’m glad at least one person thinks so:P

@uchappytrain do you see your cal grant now on webgrants?

hey guys, I have a question. Several weeks prior to getting accepted, I withdrew from one of my courses (that I took for IGETC) since I was getting a low grade in that class and I didn’t want the low grade to impact my GPA. However, when I read the Conditions of Admissions, it says that “If you receive any grade lower than “C,” or drop any course(s), you have failed to meet your conditions of admission” and “You may not drop or withdraw from any course(s) reported as “in progress” or “planned” without prior approval.”

What’s going to happen to my admission? Also, I originally planned on taking courses for the summer, but the courses I planned to take are all full (and there’s a slim chance of me successfully petitioning into the class if there’s more than 20 people also petitioning for those courses), so as a result, I’m not taking any courses this summer.

@philosoup no my cal grant still says " Application Awaiting Processing."

@sweetlacecharm, you have to report it in myadmissions. I’ve heard Davis is pretty lenient on dropped courses but I not sure. You might get rescinded if you can’t make it up and it is a really important class. If not, they’ll just let you take it at Davis when you transfer.
