That means I can watch the only team that matters in peace (that would be the Giants for those of you playing along at home ;)

From Jimmy Fallon - A bakery is selling pretzels inspired by Tim Tebow. You can tell cuz if you eat one in New England, you end up choking.

Jimmy Fallon’s “Tebowie” performance, available on youtube, is pretty epic.

Your talking big now cartera45, but ask not for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for Baltimore. Tom Brady will serve up some Raven meat just like he did Bronco meat. I predict Ray Lewis will be trying on Princess outfits after the game so he can be a commentator too. :)

I posted that somewhere on this thread - it is great.

Razor - LOL - I’ll be surprised if the Ravens win too, although they tend to play “up to” the opponent so they may play better against NE than they did against Houston. They’ll have to if they want to win. They bumped NE from the playoffs in 2010 and that wasn’t expected either.

dstark- remember those classic 49er/Giant games. They were epic. Between the 49ers/Cowboys/Redskins and Giants the NFC had powerhouse teams.

Tom1944, absolutely…Obviously you do too. :)

They were epic…

I think those were the best years for the NFC.

Great teams…and fun to watch…

It is still disappinting that Roger Craig fumbled against the NY Giants and the 49ers didn’t threepeat. 1990 NFC Championship Game. Probably…not disappointing…to you. :)

I expect that the Ravens will be toast. I also believe that the Giants will beat the 49ers.

Those California teams in all sports are soft.

It’s all that medical marijuana and surfing that makes them soft. :)

49ers…5 Super Bowl Wins…

The NY Giants…?

;)

We’re not talking about the past - its about the present.

Well… We will find out soon…

I haven’t heard too many people this year say the 49ers defense …or their special teams unit is soft…

Should be a very good game…

the pats vs the giants?

That would not be the game I want…but that would be a good game…

The old 49ers were not soft and this 49er team isn’t either.
dstark remember the game against the Giants when Jerry Rice caught a short pass and was on his way for a touchdown and just dropped the ball. I do not even remember who recovered the fumble. I happen to think that Rice is one of only several players that are without dispute the best at their position.

Well, the Ravens already beat the 49ers this year. So, if NE just gets out of the way and the Giants get out of the way, it’s the Harbaugh Bowl - with the Ravens winning again! Go Ravens!

Yes…tom1944…

I remember that too.

That year the Giants crushed the 49ers.

I can see you have been a Giants fan for a long time. :)

I rooted for the Giants when YA Tittle played for the Giants…and they lost that championship game.

Not near as much as a fan as I once was. The Shockey, Plaxico and Strahan divorce proceeding Giants turned me off. I still root for them over most other teams but it does not mean that much to me.

Everybody knows that Jesus loves cheese and is an unshakeable Jets fan. Why do you think he’s been tossing thunderbolts in the Jets’ playoff path for 40 years? It’s tough love.

Having said that, I’ll root for the Giants. It should be a great Giants-49ers game. QB Alex Smith deserves the redemption and praise he’s gotten lately. However, Coach Jim Harbaugh needs to be taken down a peg or two. Still puzzled about that near fistfight between Harbaugh and the Lions coach earlier this year.

As for Tebowmania. Though he was overhyped in college and overhyped today. His ostentatious religiosity is not for me, but it’s his football performance that leaves me scratching my head. But he did embarrass my Jets.

Actually, I think the Jets have been doing a great job embarassing themselves the past few weeks. They did not need Tebow’s help.
