I am ashamed to admit this, but I just googled the timelines:
Brady Moynahan breakup: December 2006
Baby born: August 2007
Brady Bundchen public sighting: January 2007

So, he broke up with her after she was pregnant (40 week gestation period) and before he started up with Bundchen (in public at least).

I agree that only they know what happened and it not right to assume anyone was trying to trap anyone else. I find that how I feel about an athlete’s (or politician’s) character does affect if I want them to succeed on the field (or in an election). Go Broncos!

Living in the land of the Gator’s, and being a Hurricane, my Tebow-meter has been pegged for a long time. I was so glad he ended up west of the Mississippi… I figured he’d go out there and be an occasional headline. Boy, did I get that one wrong.

mom I used to feel that way but there is so much we don’t know about these public figures that I have learned to tune out their private lives unless it is really reprehensible.

I don’t think the Brady baby reaches that level. Do I like that it happened-no I do think it reflects poorly on him and I don’t feel the same about him that I did before.

I think he’s a pretty good guy. I would have liked to see him marry Bridget. I like him as much since this Giselle came on the scene.

I just can’t get too lathered up and think he is evil with what we know about some of the other people that are playing in the NFL.

NFC championship showdown between Rodgers and Brees. Superbowl showdown between Rodgers and Brady. Rodgers takes the Lombardi Trophy back home to Titletown.

I feel sorry for Tebow. Yes, he’s religious, but all this 3:16 stuff is a media creation. Lots of athletes demonstrate faith on the field (think baseball players who do the sign of the cross at the plate), but Tebow has been a lightning rod for criticism.

Going for Tebow since I’ve watched him throughout his time at Florida. I applaud him for how outward he is about his faith. It is funny to see him without John 3:16 on his checks like he did with the Gators.

My one issue with him is the commercial he did with his mom last year for the Super Bowl. I just have different views on the issue. He’s still a fine football player.

Sure he has won three Super Bowl but Brady has yet to face the type of pressure he will face tomorrow, as he carries the hopes (twisted) and dreams (dirty) of the virtueless masses on his shoulders.

mdemvizi, I see you are in Maryland. Are you sure it’s not because you’d rather that the Ravens face the Broncos instead of the Patriots in the AFC Championship? ;)

There is one person who can stop it and his name is Tebow. Without his antics, there are no stories for the media to focus on. Journalists do what is expected of them, namely find any stories to boost rating and keeping the game less dull and controversial. Tebow is more than happy to continue provide the material, all the while hiding behind the face of an ingenue.

The mix of football and divine intervention will soon be history. Not a day too soon.

Notrichenough - I was born in Jacksonville and root for the Jaguars and the Gators. I may have lived in Maryland for the past 15 years but I don’t give a rat’s *** about teams in the area. Neither does anyone else in my family. We’ve never assimilated into football culture here and we are okay with it :D
