'Fraid so. Your name is a bit further down my list to claim for the Ministry of Love…I’d be careful if I were you, D-Yu. You better stay on my good side (<–THREAT!!)

… do you think college confidential is representative of the tasp applicant pool?

Fridge: I don’t see opening them as bravery. I see it as a psychological inability to continue living if I don’t see the contents of said email/letter.

My internet didn’t work this morning, so I couldn’t check my SAT score. I then proceeded to speed all the way to school as quickly as possible, complaining to my sister vociferously about the evils of our fickle Internet, ran into the choir room (which was empty) and immediately checked them online. I get a little insane sometimes. Definitely not bravery…

Haha, I don’t know. I can’t imagine it’s that far off…

^lol, does anybody else have any other say on this

SS - I have more of an avoidant personality. Procrastination and paranoid fear of rejection (by TASP in particular) come with the package. In comparison, you are brave, if a bit maniacal. Maybe I’ll feel a bit better after I conquer a few countries.

TPC - Seeing as the TASP pool is very self-selective (as is CC) and most people who even know of the program scored in the 98th percentile on the PSATs (which I know doesn’t necessarily mean anything, but still…), I would say, in general, probably yes, or very close.

Are you thinking that if the rest of the tasplicants are a bunch of dummies like me then you have a better shot? No such luck. ;)

no, i was thinking about whether or not there would be tasplicants that somehow are even better than i expected etc. i dont know haha

i don’t kno, fridge, if you’re in command of ingsoc (i.e. ministry of love, etc) couldn’t you alter publications to show you as brilliant, charitable, and volunteer 2000 hours in africa a year?

Remind me, D-Yu. How many fingers am I holding up? What is 2 plus 2?
Don’t make me get the rats.

Did everyone sponstaneously disappear?
I should get going to bed. Bye all.

no, sorry, doing anatomy. i’m still here

Still here. I like staying up late. It’s nice and quiet.

^^ especially when there’s no girls around
then it’s reeeeaaaaaallly quiet

Awakens from the dead
Shut-up D-Yu! smack
You will pay for your insolent remarks!!
Returns to the dead

^^^That made me laugh far harder than it probably should have. Wow… :)

that smack was on the hand - aka high five.

a prominent member of the SS laughing? you better stiffen up there bucko, if you want to last in this harsh world of TASPlicant warfare.

Why? Would my hand have broken from your thick skull?
I could take you any day. I have my army of neighborhood 5-year-olds to back me up! :)

you betcha. big brains require big armor

and my 5-year old sister can take on both of em. she’s got a mean karate kick

edit: i’ll be gone for about 1/2 an hour now, but i’ll be back.

Well my 5-year-olds have a mean set of teeth.

SS, I am sure, is laughing at the futility of your attempts to escape the Combine. I’m afraid Winkism cannot be overcome. Embrace the system, my friend.

Good night.

^^ i didn’t know Winkism qualified as a system. i’ve always viewed it as a crude conglomeration of vague sayings and flatterism of some pathetic, self-proposed corrupt being. :)

MAN i need to keep up with this thread LOl
