Lucy, I’m home! If any one would like to know, my job is getting easier everyday.

Someone actually asked me for a lemonade without sugar…which means she was asking for lemon-flavored water…but when i gave that to her, she said, “This is just lemon-water, I’m not buying this.”

Moral of the story, people want to make my job harder.

Oh yeah. HEY, MIS AMIGOS DE LA COMPUTADORA!

I just realized where I knew Maeby from Arrested Development from. She used to be on a show called State of Grace when we were about ten… Any one else watch it?

Sorry, I ate din din. Never heard of the show, cira. Yesterday, a wrote a post about the arrested development movie, but I don’t think you read it. Did you hear about it?

I’ll take your idea into consideration, elmo. (:

Apparently, everyone is on board, they’re just waiting for the writer’s strike to end. Seeing as it has ended, they’re probably negotiating contracts as we speak.

Are we doing the pics tonight? Because I’m so not in the mood. Work at a nut stand is unbelievably more exhausting then one could think possible, and I don’t feel like spiffing my tired butt up to take a pic.
Not to mention that I’d have to borrow my parents camera because I don’t have my own; that would lead to obvious questions like, “Why do you need the camera?” and I’m pretty sure saying, “So I can upload pictures of myself to the internets.” would not be okay. I can do it tomorrow after school when it would be easy to get.

Meh, I don’t care. I’m using a spiffy picture of me all dolled up for The Big Dance At My School ™, although I was tempted to take one today. I’m having a very good hair day. I’m sure no one would mind waiting another day.

haha can u figure out why the thumb is always on the right side? or why we drive on the left side of the road? i already kno why the brits drive on the right.

debate: do u think the U.S. should go metric?

We’ve been doing okay up until now being non-metric, so we’re okay for the foreseeable future.
Actually, it would cost an exorbitant amount of cash for America to switch because of the way our factories have been made. Metric screws wouldn’t fit into our current machine parts because they’re about a sixtieth of an inch to big for the already made holes, so we would have to completely remake everything from scratch.
We should start a fund that would go to the costs of the transition from non-metric to metric.

I always forget, what is america’s system called?

Regarding pics -
I asked my friend to take a picture of me this morning and all she got were a bunch of candid shots of myself in various stages of development: bedhair, flossing, mouthwash, eye drops…yeah…it wasn’t pretty.

I did get one OK picture, and I doubt it’ll get much better than that…but I certainly don’t mind waiting until tomorrow. I get this feeling that Earil must be very pretty…after the Audrey Hepburn comment I can’t picture anyone else…

Regarding metric -
Ya-ya. I like metric so much better; having spent a good part of my life in Canada, I still have some trouble conceptualizing the English system when someone says “one mile”–I have to literally think about what 1.6 km would be to compare. Metric would also simplify international operations. The current system is so messy to convert and a standard measures system would make international economy so much smoother and more efficient.

No pressure Earil. I already /know/ you are beautiful…at least on the inside, which is what counts. (Although I’m sure you’re beautiful on the outside too).

The U.S. is not an empire in the political sense (i.e. we do not physically “rule” over any other nations)…but it is does have a tendency to bully other nations into become economically dependent upon it –> more like an industrial empire.
