and it is called the INTERNATIONAL HOUSE OF PANCAKES for a reason. i’ll give you a hint…it is not because of the waffles.

I have to go eat dinner, because I think I napped through family dinner time… I’ll be back later.

And no, unfortunately, no pancakes or candy bars will be served with this meal… ):

:: looks left and right frantically ::
dammit man donny left me!!
:: proceeds to feel lonely ::

Rebuttal:
-Article never says whether or not they’re boring. Admittedly, I like the idea of people learning a useful home skill, so I’ll GIVE you this point.
-If you have problems with rationing butter in the morning, I find it hard to believe you were even able to measure the ingredients to make the breakfast.
-Nazi’s love WAFFLES not pancakes. Once they invaded Belgium, the German soldiers became addicted.
-INTERNATIONAL HOUSE OF PANCAKES! It has PANCAKES right in the name.
-Only idiots get it all over their plates. Also, I will not cower from any endeavor, such as syrup pouring, due to fear of failure.
-It’s called a convectional oven. Also, how, pray tell, are waffles reheated? By superman’s heat vision?
-A world ruled by waffle-lovers is no world I want to live in. You can have your pancakeless dystopia.

This is getting intense!
-Making breakfast- another of my mother’s wonderful talents.
-Have you any proof of this?
-Are people there for the pancakes, or for the delicious toppings on them? Think about it. Waffles are a much more sensible conduit for strawberries and bananas.
-You are talking about heated, natural syrup here, not Aunt Jemima, right? Because that stuff is runny, and rather than waste my life away trying not to soak my bacon in it, I’d eat a waffle, munch still crispy fried pork bits and go on my merry way.
-But think of the wasted electricity, turning on the oven to reheat a couple of old breakfast foods! Waffles are heated in toasters, which are smaller and much more efficient.
-…Okay!

I’m done! Sorry about being gone, had to eat dinner.
i admit defeat, but you can never take away my love of flapjacks.

Mm, victory tastes like maple.

So how was your day?

I tutor a kid every Monday, but he hates me for making him learn, so kinds sucky. I did see the new Indy trailer, which, sadly, made my day better because it gave me something to look forward to.
Aced my President Test for APUSH though.
How about you?

Not bad… Kind of a lot of homework, but I got a 106 on my Macbeth test!

I seriously think my last 100 was in middle school.
High school is a harsh mistress.

Only if you go to a tough one. Mine’s easy. I think there’s a girl who has a 100 average overall.

What are you ranked? Or do you go to one of those unorthodox schools that don’t rank?

I’m like 5 or 6 out of 400, so top 2%. You?

wow. I’m 14 outta 645. About top 3%. I need to kill number 13 so that I can get into the top 2%. (:

I’ve got a serious question. What would be better? Buying a computer or saving money for a trip during senior year summer?

Yeah, I was thinking there were a few ranked higher up I could bump off. They’re mostly boring. No one will miss them! innocent smile

You go to a big school.

you to are soo wrong. but then again my rank is a lot lower than that.

Yeah, my school is notorious for overpopulation. It was a lot worse a few years ago, before another school was made to stem the flow of students.

Typing with a dog in your lap=really hard. (:

where does the trip go?

Aww, a puppy? What kind of dog is it?

New Zealand and a halfbreed of ****zu and Maltese.

I said s h i t z u. (:
