thanks aspeedofreak I’m a mad fan of Matrix

I skipped my first 2 periods at school to finish the TASP essays, although that didn’t keep my last 3 essays from being pathetically empty :D. After that, I tried not to think about it, and actually forgot about the whole thing until I got the notification for the interview!

It was raining the day of the interview, and I was raining, too haha, only it was before, not after, the interview when I read my English teacher’s encouraging email.

It was the first day I had my contacts too! I got ready, planning to arrive 30 or 40 minutes early. I was lucky than most of you because I had only one interviewer. He was driving and the rain caused him to delay the interview for 2 hours. During that 2 hours, I “managed” to lose one of my contacts, got lost on highway (with one blurry eye :D), and thanked God (cough I’m an agnostic) that an old man showed me how to get back.
My interviewer is an anthropology-major so the questions were very mind-beating, plus we talked about The Tale of 2 Cities, a book I read on my own and remembered nothing about :D. The interviewer was very kind but when we were done, his eyes were telling me (although we know now that they weren’t saying anything :D), “I’m sorry blah blah blah.”
I tried not to think about TASP but failed this time. I checked this thread twice or three times a day and kept thinking about it in my US History Class (yeah, it’s a good place for daydreamers and people with wandering thoughts, not to mention nappers haha)

I planned not to be accepted (by applying for some other Chemistry program). But the TA finally turned me a nerd running wildly across the school hallway (thanks God :D).

I called my mom.
Mommmm! I got in TASP blah blah
What is TASP?
My mom didn’t care but I didn’t care if she cared or not anyway :>

w00t tale of two cities. i talked about that book too. i had two awesome interviewers. i’m glad i had more than one b/c the atmosphere was less tense. i filled out my rooming questionaire. i just want to apologize to my future roommate; my crap is going to end up everywhere T.T

Nevermind, I just checked my e-mail and saw the questionnaire. I hope I room with someone interesting. Although, being interesting is sort of a TASP acceptance requirement…

yeah the rules and regulations… I mean, even a game of soccer can pose a threat to my potential opponents. But I think everybody is going to be fine.

As far as rooms, a tasper of 07 told me they got 2 and 3 bed rooms for guys.

intermittent lurker Anybody else planning on trying to get some summer work done during TASP? I have eleven books to read (three of them in Spanish), but I don’t know if it’s even feasible for me to consider getting non-TASP work done. ;P

I have 5 to read _ but I plan to finish all of them before TASP
congrats lookbeyond Don’t tell me your reading list also includes the Inferno and Crime and Punishment :D
