<p>True kameron. I just heard that we could call so i decided to try both offices. I honestly forgot about this whole process for like the month following the submission of my application, so i don’t think i’m too obsessive…hopefully, haha.</p>

<p>So true. I still haven’t applied anywhere else but I guess I will starting next week…whether I get an interview. I really wish the interviews weren’t another elimination round haha</p>

<p>It’s hard not to stress about this. I made the mistake of pulling out my essays, which I promised myself I wouldn’t do until after I got my rejection letter. I found that I had not capitalized “White House,” and immediately put the essays away. Such a bad idea.</p>

<p>I hope that at least a couple of people off that list get in, that way we’ll know that the people who worried and fretted about their essays just like us made it. (:</p>

<p>Okay, so apparently the letters have been received the first Wednesday of March at least the past couple of years so hopefully we hear something this Wednesday…but that’s kind of wishful thinking :P</p>

<p>by the way, is the interview process really competitive as well? or is more of a… if you dont screw up you’ll be okay type of deal?</p>

<p>In my personal opinion, the interview is far more competitive than the first round, despite the higher acceptance rate. Instead of competing against a thousand apps of varying quality, you’re competing against ~100 people who have ALL been judged qualified through their essays. And don’t forget about diversity.</p>

<p>I’m really worried that living overseas, the letter will take like two weeks to get here and AAAAARGH. So I’m going to hold out until Thursday and then email them in a frenzied flurry of fear.</p>

<p>I haven’t been on these forums for a while because I got lazy and did other stuff like games, but still, I’m an applicant.</p>

<p>I haven’t read like the past…40 pages or so, so I don’t really know when decisions come out. Care someone to reiterate on this and give me a range (if not the exact date), and by what method (e-mail/snail mail)?</p>

<p>Yet another lurker, freaking out. As an international applicant, especially as one in China, I won’t receive a letter for probably 3 months on the offchance I do get an interview. I will have to email/call ahhhhhh!</p>

<p>^You could email just to be safe, but I assume they have a system for international applicants. I know they do phone interviews with them but I have no idea how their notification system works.</p>
