Again, I will strongly encourage a couple of things.

  1. Put Berkeley in your rear view mirror.

  2. Find some affordable college(s) in your home country.

The universities can do what they want with applications. If they denied your application ahead of decision day, that is good news for you. You know you wont be attending UCB. It doesnt matter if you think they did not treat you fairly. Nothing is going to change here. Please move on. If you are insistant that you need to attend an American University, you have stated that others have interest in you. Same advice we give students here all the time. Love the school that loves you back.
What advice do you want from this community at this point. No one here is on the admissions team at Berkeley. Many long time contributors have already given you advice which I agree with.

Nothing wrong with the admission team. It is up to you to complete the application accurately and also know the policies for each university you apply. It plainly states on the UC website that UC Berkeley does not accept updates or corrections once the application is submitted. By contacting admissions continually about sending transcripts which they stated they will not accept, only made a negative impression. You will get your official UCB decision at the end of March but you need to move on if other schools are an option.

I hope you have a varied list of affordable colleges on your application list. At this point, all you can do is wait and see IF you get accepted to any of them when the regular decisions are made.

Ok, then your application will be reviewed and UC Berkeley sends out decisions at the end of March.
