Test Optional Direct Admit Northeast Nursing Programs 2025-2026

Anyone have a list of direct admit test optional nursing programs at with small classes on the east coast, having a difficult time finding one

I know of the following:

Drexel
Quinnipiac
High Point
University of Pittsburgh (very large classes though)
Sacred Heart
St. Johns (very large classes)

Define East Coast

Check Bloomsburg (not sure if TO next year), Carlow, Duquesne, East Stroudsburg, Hartwick (test recommended but not required), Maine, Seton Hall, TCNJ, Widener

I got the list of DA from 3rd party so check each.

Delaware?

Doesn’t Quinnipiac say that SAT/ACT is recommended for nursing students? Is it advisable to apply test optional if scores are recommended?

Add Eastern University, which is currently test optional

I’ve been researching direct-admit, test-optional nursing programs on the East Coast that offer smaller class sizes, but it’s been challenging to find many. So far, I’ve come across Drexel, Quinnipiac, High Point, Sacred Heart, and St. John’s (though their classes are quite large), as well as the University of Pittsburgh, which also has larger class sizes.

These three Connecticut publics are all test optional and direct admit for nursing:

Southern Connecticut State University - some clinicals are at Yale-New Haven Hospital
Eastern Connecticut State University - most clinicals are a short walk to Windham Hospital
University of Connecticut

Also:

UMass Amherst
Albany College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences
