Same here!
I’ve been saying, WHERE’SSSS THE WHOOP??!!
You have to be a real 80s kid for this one!
If only I had a meme maker like @SGTGold!
YES!!! I’ve been running meetings and checking my phone on the side…talking about multi-tasking at its finest!!
I didn’t mean an on campus dorm. It’s my understanding when it was Tradition, before it was 12 North, it was marketed more as dorms than as apartments. Even when 12 North calls, caller ID still shows the call coming in from “Tradition Dorm”. A friend’s sister remembers staying at the Tradition Dorm for summer camps, too. I think it sets the expectation better if you go in thinking of it as a dorm rather than an apartment. My kiddo thinks of it like Hullabaloo, but a block away and a washer/dryer in her unit with her instead of shared and down the hall.
It had a terrible reputation when it was Tradition. Poor management, a/c went out in the summer…for WEEKS. Constant complaints on parent pages.
Hopefully new management and name change has turned it around….
Great info everyone. We are going to take a look at it this Saturday.
Are these units owned by individuals and then leased like a condo, or owned by the building owner?
May be best moving dorm selection discussion to Admitted Texas A&M Class of 2028 topic.
I was 1985 “temporary housing” or back then it was called “over-assigned” in Gainer the women’s corps dorm…corps was on first floor and regular students in higher levels. We enjoyed watching Corp of cadets line up in the square every night for dinner…lol. Unfortunately had to shower down the hall…but we managed the inconvenience just to be on campus. When they had a fake war in the quad 5 a.m. one weekday morning with canons we had had enough, so moved to Fowler North side 2nd semester. Surprised those balcony dorms are standing the test of time….
where is the whoop- going on day 2 of 7 tabs in howdy!
I will when I get the Whoop, sir.
Hi everyone! The Rise at Northgate, where I live, had 40 spots open about three weeks ago. The apartments are nice, right across the street from campus, and you can walk to classes.
I was in Briggs in the 90s too!
Looks like there was a waitlist but it’s now closed
My daughter’s friend selected waitlist and team. She hasn’t seen any changes in howdy/AIS yet. Should she be worried or is TAMU releasing more offers still?
Same with my daughter
I don’t know…but it does not look like they have really started a mass release yet. What some are seeing is behind the scenes prep work and a trickle of admits linked to TEAM waitlist (vs full admit waitlist).
Hang strong and best wishes.
Between now and end of April will be small releases whenever available.
We have “under review” in AIS but 7 tabs in Howdy (as of the other day) but no Whoop, does that mean fully accepted?
One of the tabs in Howdy is My Dashboard, open to see what major admitted.
AIS usually updates a day or two later.
Does major show a change to TEAM?
