@ALL I’m wondering if the acceptance letters going out now are for 1st Qtr students and then it moves to 2nd qtr students in Jan/Feb and to any HiPo 3rd Qtr. students in March. 
Just a thought. The admittance algorithm is causing me to lose my mind.

Yeah I’m curious do they go through all first quarter and then down to second quarter and so on?

@jrgomez224 it isn’t a given holistic 1st Q get acceptance, even tougher for 2nd Q and I’d say PSA for 3rd Q. 2nd and 3rd Q probably won’t hear back until February or March, many 1st Q probably won’t hear until January or February (unless very high stats, scores and rank). This is stated on A&M Admissions page.

Does anyone know if applicants get true Rejections? Do they reject applications as they go through? Or do a MASS rejection list toward Feb/March?
Yes, straight rejections are given.
PSA is considered (by many) to be a ‘soft’ rejection.
March is usually timeline for PSA and rejections.

Yeah that 21 will put her, most likely, in the PSA route. Not a bad route if Tamu is for sure the desired final destination.
Who knows tho. They could see something beyond tear scores!! And congrats on the other offers!!!
Last year I think we saw some PSAs in February too. That’s my recollection because it was earlier than normal and there were still acceptances coming out. I guess we shall see this cycle!

I think you’re right…we were surprised they came sooner than prior years.
This cycle is certainly different…so who knows?!

My son got a letter from corps of cadet. Does it mean anything? Or it’s just the marketing material?

I also got the letter; my friends (who got in) also got it. I think it is just marketing or something else.

Yes, you are correct. We called again and told us we had received incorrect information the day before. We have to receive 4k in merit. So I guess Texas is out. Now we are thinking either UW Seattle or Purdue.

Is it usual to not hear from the Bush School until now? Not just for me, but every platform, no one has heard from the Bush School yet. Please advise
