This is the first time I have seen CHEN added to the list. I’m assuming that is Chem E. The ETAM results from Spring 2023 didn’t appear as bad for Chem E majors. Thoughts? My son received his first choice Chem E from UT before the Christmas break and has also been admitted to A&M engineering.

Rough! Had two I know personally that didn’t get ME holistically. Check out the ETAM results for Spring 2023.

CHEN is always in ETAM you may have to scroll the long list to locate it. Indeed, last cycle CHEN admitted all first choice students even though 110 out of 192 require holistic review. Similar situation for BMEN but that’s because 2023 cycle was first year that TAMU tighten the classes’ curves.

Still 1187 out of 3037 freshmen were able to be auto (3.75+ GPA) which is quite impressive and well prepared.

Have any TEAM/TEAB offers gone out? Or the options to select TEAM/TEAB or waitlist? My daughter mentioned one of her friends told her they got TEAM last week and I had not seen that mentioned here yet so I wanted to see if I missed it.

We haven’t seen any Team or Teab on here yet.

I knew it is in ETAM. Thanks! Was just commenting your post was the first time I had seen it listed as one of the hardest to get into. Thanks for the follow up! Greatly appreciated!

My son saw 7 tabs this morning! Was not there Friday afternoon so we were shocked! AIS has not updated yet but this is our 2nd Aggie so we know that takes a bit but his “My Dashboard” tab does show his degree under “Overview”. BS POLS, Bush School!

Great news! It should come through on AIS tomorrow or at the latest Thursday.

What were his stats?

Applied mid-Sept, UW 3.74, top 25%, 4 APs, 1340 SAT (would only take it once ) several clubs (NHS, NTHS, SkillsUSA, church youth group), president of a school organization, 100+ volunteer hours, worked full time during summers (lifeguarding), has maintained part-time job during school year for two years, JV & Varsity Cross Country 4 years (went to State twice), JV & Varsity Track & Field 3 years, committed to the Corps (wants to go into the Air Force), & now waiting on ROTC scholarship results. Attended freshman and sophomore year at tough Washington DC area high school and junior & senior year at North Dakota high school. We are a military family and have maintained our Texas residency so are considered in-state for tuition but have no idea if he was considered an OOS applicant or not. @TigerGirl06 - I know the waiting is awful, your stats and work ethic combination are very strong, stay positive!

Thank you! Congratulations!

Fingers crossed!

I find the TAMU portal confusing. Where are the tabs you see? On the bar with “Home” ~ “Applicant” ~" My Howdy" ?

Does TAMU send an email, or do you just have to keep checking the portal?

Seeing these extra tabs in Howdy is an indication that acceptance is coming.

Congratulations you are about to be admitted. Were those tabs there this morning? What major are you? What are your stats?

The email to familiarize yourself with all the TAMU pathways while waiting for a decision, is it a mass send or an indicator of a non-full admit decision?
