Yes, it’s hers too 
On Monday my son got his all his green check marks and was given first quarter ranking. He sent a message in the portal asking if his scores qualified for top 10% auto admit as a homeschooler. He got a message yesterday that they were working on it.
Today he woke up to ranking changed to 10% and has his 7 tabs. Applying for engineering so in review.

Follow up question. In his dashboard now, under overview it lists his program/major as BA COMP - Computing and not Engineering Review like our '27 Aggie had when he was first accepted. Does this mean he’s admitted directly into computing rather than having to wait for the college of engineering review?
Correct, he is auto admitted into BA Computing as there is no Engineering ETAM process or secondary review.
My daughter has all green check marks. She is 1st Qtr and it says app complete in review. Applied 8/1. Communications is her major of choice. She has a 3.88 GPA (Small Private School) She cheered and has been captain the last two years. She has Several EC and Leadership roles listed. 2 good recommendations. Does anyone know if COMM is competitive this year? What do you think our chances are?
Depends on test Scores, honestly, on when she’ll hear back. Comm usually fills up but probably not before January. Her GPA.. is that weighted?
Yes but that is with 4 honors courses that grade on a 5.0 scale. Does that make sense?
3.88 on a 5.0 scale probably won’t lend well to the strength of application unless I’m misunderstanding. Does she have any Dual Credit or AP? If Dual credit, what is her GPA with those?
The school does not make sense with the grading. She is 3.88 on 4.0 scale. She did take English at CC here in Dallas and received an 89 in that…that was in between her Soph and junior year.
Gotcha. So we’ll have to just hide and see how the admission cycle goes during first round of holistic admits. People typically post their stats and timeline of the process.

Do you have any idea when the first round of holistic admits start and what type of scores to expect in the first round?
My holistic grad found out full admit to Mays on 9/19 last year.

It sounds like some people over in the FB group are getting “Admitted” statuses with their chosen major.
I have a hard time believing that…WAY too soon.
Unless they can pay Housing deposit, they haven’t been admitted.
I thought so too but one person showed a screen shot of their acceptance in the “manage application” section of the Howdy Portal and another person just announced they have the same this evening. Not sure about paying housing deposit, they didn’t mention it.
Auto admits may get their admittance now. If their not engineering then they’ll get into their major.
