No. That’s good. Different majors just same dept. totally normal.
Daughter got accepted in first wave and howdy portal shows her admission packet was sent out on 11’th Sep . But we didn’t receive any yet in the mail . She double checked and the address is correct . Should we email the counselor or just wait .

Same here. Daughter was accepted but everything has been online. She has gotten nothing in the regular mail

We had the same notification about the packet mailed 9/11, and my kids just got them on the 25th. We are in College Station.
Last year my son got University acceptance on 9/12 and he didn’t get the packet until 9/27. We are in San Antonio area.

DD selected leadership learning living community during housing phase 2. Today we got email that a spot has been reserved for her in Krueger Hall . Any disadvantages/advantages of choosing LLC ? How is Krueger hall ?

If it is anything like last year’s timeline it should be any day now. My son got his Engineering acceptance a year ago today.

Just found this thread. I’m curious to know how these rolling admissions work. Is everything to date mainly auto-admit? My son has a 4.08 and a 1340 SAT at a highly competitive private school w/ a decent amount of extracurriculars. Not sure if he’s borderline admit or Blinn Team based on those scores. But how does Blinn Team work with rolling admissions? Will they give someone Blinn team now, or is this a wait-and-see if there are spots and then they hand out Blinn Team towards the end? We’re checking daily, but just curious in terms of timing expectations.

Have you done dorm tours? If not, highly suggest because dorms are such a personal decision as is joining an LLC. Truly no wrong answer.
If you can’t do tour, go to the residence page and do virtual. The Commons have smaller rooms with a shared bathroom with another room. I think they’re great. The commons also has its own dining and built in community. There’s a Rec center right next door as well as golf course.
if it were me, I’d take the room and the LLC vibe and remove the stress of finding a dorm in May. But it’s not me, so try to do a tour!

From reading through the last couple of years, it looks like the “three options” (Blinn TEAM, waitlist, or both) generally come in January (someone correct me if that’s wrong). I haven’t seen anyone post with holistic review admit yet, and I think the earliest they start rolling in is about now but usually those with super high test scores it seems.
What majors did your son select?

My son just got accepted into the Engineering Major. He is NMSF. He put Electrical Engineering as #1 but when he selected I think there was the combined choice of Electrical & Computer Engineering. Anyhow, A&M gave him Computer Engineering only. Is there a way to appeal to get Electrical Engineering? Thank you.
He’s accounting, which is Mays Business School for #1 and Econ as a #2. Econ is in liberal arts college.
FYI - my daughter got the 3 options on Jan 23 of this year. She immediately selected TEAB only (actually it said TEAM only). Got 7 tabs on Jan 27. On Jan 28 she got admittance for TEAB!
