This is super helpful! Thank you!!!
Any idea when a holistic review, test optional for agribusiness and ag Econ might hear back? Top 12% Texas resident, good fit to ag college. Honors and at least 1 year dual credit.
What does one year DC as it relates to credits?
And test optional?
Yes, test optional. Should have about 30 credit hours.
That is a lot. Do you know gpa of just the DC classes?
No. Asking for kid I know - not mine.
Great intel!!!
It is quite frustrating that my son got this identical email again two weeks after he received it the first time. He is awaiting his engineering decision, and there has been no movement in Howdy or AIS, then or now. The first time he got the email, we finally landed on it being a delayed email for those who were admitted to the university (even if not engineering). But why did this go out again if there’s still no decision?
Got the same email with no result in AIS. Hopefully it updates soon, because it did update for a few people the last time that email went out. Frustrating for real.
Under Manage application in Howdy, it doesn’t show Engineering as major for fall 2027 at Cstat? I don’t have access to Howdy any more so it could be a different tab. Can someone who has been admitted with a major other than Eng, provide a screenshot of tab and verbiage from howdy?
mays here, but we got the same email again today as well. I have no idea for why.
Our howdy says “whoop you have accepted admission.” (Already paid for nsc). It makes me scratch my head as well, but I’m sorry for those of you waiting on engineering words. Got to be super frustrating!
Well I guess knowing that y’all got the same email, I can probably chalk this up to another email that doesn’t mean anything and makes those of us still waiting briefly jump out of our skin.
It makes no sense. The first time I thought it was a glitch. This time, one they really need to fix!
Not that anyone cares but this process can make auto admit engineering applicants less enthusiastic about TAMU!
You speak the truth!
Still hoping for freshman status for your student, but FYI the fall transfer application deadline is March 1st so theoretically he could still apply this spring as a transfer if he didn’t hear and enter in the fall as a transfer rather than wait for spring? I’m not
but worth considering?
Mine says I need to accept admission in AIS, but I can’t find where that is. How did you do this?
