Oh, I hope so. He is top 10%. So I wasn’t sure if he would hear from just acceptance to the university and then approval/denial from Mays (what he is really waiting on).. or if it would come in one communication. Then by chance if they get into honors is that another communication or does everything come at once? Do you know by chance? Thanks so much for the feedback!

I think they hopefully just need time to process the transcripts because in a similar boat over here. Transcripts were received electronically on 8/11 but not showing in AIS at all yet, not even under received documents.

Congrats! Definitely accepted. Wahoo. Falls on the same day as last years first decision. Now you wait for AIS to flip to “Whoop, You’ve been admitted”

Honors is typically in February. And only engineering is 2nd review so no need to wait on mays!

Well my son shows Engineering Review in both AIS and Howdy, so now starts the next wait. I’ve taken a few screenshots in case I question myself on whether or not something changed down the line…

How long does that usually take? Any idea?
Once application said complete and in review we noticed the change in Howdy the following day as far as tabs and overview section, however, have not heard anything official. AIS still says, “my app complete and in review”. Not sure how long it will take for something offficial.

Sometimes it’s days and we have also seen it takes weeks. It’s really crazy, but rest assured, from what you showed me, you are in!

Are auto admit students who are still in engineering review able to sign up for housing when it opens, or do they have to await the final engineering decision? AI has given me conflicting answers to this question, so I like my odds of getting the real answer here!
if he sees the “7 tabs” in Howdy.tamu.edu, and then click on the Overview link, you can see what college he was admitted to (and the major).
my daughter’s Howdy changed this morning and we can now see that she has been admitted into Mays! Whoop!

Yes, you can still sign up and pay for housing. Mark LLC if you do in fact get into Engineering and want to be in that community. If you don’t get into Engineering, you will just select a different dorm in May alongside everyone else. You definitely want the earliest time stamp on housing application. Make sure it says Phase 1 complete when done.

Trying to make sure I’m on the same page. Overview in Howdy for my son says Mayes.. he is not getting his hopes up despite me telling him over and over about the tab tricks lol
We have to wait until we get official word in AIS and accept before housing correct?. I keep hearing housing will open in September.. so I assume we will have official acceptances before that right?
Not sure when housing will open up. I know you have the tabs in Howdy, but does it say Admitted yet or just all those details? YES he is for sure in Mays regardless. I would just keep clicking on the housing tab to see if open. = 0
