The Amazing Race 2025

Is it something like wearing Depends so they don’t need to use the restroom?

Regarding the technical difficulties, I agree that it likely didn’t impact the finish. I know 2nd and 3rd receive prize money as well. I assume that Jag & Jas were so far ahead, and Adam & Joseph were so far behind, that it didn’t matter.

I thought the finale was anticlimactic - I was certain that jag and Jas would somehow slip up, giving a team we didn’t expect the win.

Alas.

Good season overall.

Only three teams finished a leg in first place this season - and one of those wins was gifted. This season was dominated by Tucker & Eric and Jas & Jag.

For sure. I hope we see Tucker and Eric back again. And if he gets his wish, I’ll watch Jag on Survivor!!

If Jag gets on Survivor, I’m guessing he’ll be voted out pretty quickly. As a winner of both BB and TAR, he’d be viewed as a formidable threat from the get-go.

There is absolutely no way I see that happening, unless they have a special season. And even then, he’d be an early boot.

Are you saying he will be voted off of Survivor because he is affluent? Jag won $750K from Big Brother and $500K from Amazing Race (assuming he split it with his brother). There have been plenty of Survivor contestants who were much more affluent than that before coming onto the show.

I didn’t watch BB so I don’t know how well he lies or how manipulative he is. On TAR, he came across as loyal to his alliance. I think others would see him as a good shield.

No. Because he has a winning track record. And because every other tribe member wants to win.

And invariably, at least at first, they do their best to hide it

Jag is someone on BB who could “talk the spots off a dog” - so manipulative in a way that he could talk anyone into or out of what he was looking to do. He’s not a nasty player, but persistent.
I feel like there is a good bit of talk on Survivor among the cast when on the island that they are not interested in anyone with $$$ getting more. Case in point, they often seem to pass off the lawyers. - and the lawyers never want to tell that they are!

Right. That’s what I had in mind when I said that he’d be voted off early.

Strong competitors are viewed as threats and are usually voted off as soon as the opportunity arises.

I didn’t think of the money aspect, but yes maybe that could be a factor too.

Yes please! Would like to know!

I think there’s enough interest from posters so maybe you could just post here?

I’ve been msg’ing everyone. Some people are big on no spoilers, and, while ths isn’t a true spoiler, it is a BTS look at what one team did so I decided to keep it to PMs. I figured if I posted here then there might be chatter and then it gets too difficult for people to avoid the info.

I see, ok.

But please PM me. I’d love to hear

PM me as well.

@Youdon_tsay please PM me as well. H and I were just discussing how stuff works behind the scenes. For eg, when they went to the Notre Dame in Paris. We’ve been there a few times and it is usually pretty crowded. But the clue box is there and no one else around? If they do have security there to hold the crowd away, isn’t that a dead giveaway to the contestants?

I answered that upthread:
