Procrastinating by browsing the Class of 2016 FB group and realizing I am the dumbest guy in that group, eating, sleeping and occasionally studying for A2 exams in Jan.

Sheesh A levels are such a big turnoff ><

@DarthSpawnus: you still giving your A2?? I thought you were a gap year student.

I have 3 units of Further Math and Chem Unit 5 left.

Did you guys submit your school forms?

How are the supplements going?

And merry Christmas!!!:D

^ Merry Christmas to y’all.
Congrats DarthSpawnus!

hey guys quick question … will american universities take the A* into account? Should we include info about the grade in the self-reported academic transcripts required by some unis?

I honestly have no clue about this since A*s were added into the system recently.

I feel it should count for something. You got the highest possible grades in a subject and that is an achievement.

However I cannot say how much it would influence admission decision. In my opinion, I don’t think it will contribute much to an admission decision.

@mayisha-A* really doesnt count. adcoms of US and Canadian unis visited our skul. evry tym we asked them they said it doesnt count.

BTW, anyone had any xperience with CSS? I cant even get myself started with that! so anybody filled it or any tips?

I almost finished the CSS, some trivial data left to collect.

BTW, there are some colleges that tell the students to fill the CSS, then send the financial documents via IDOC, which I dont know anything about. But, on Dartmouth page, they mentioned that international kids whose parents live outside US should just mail the fin docs to the fin aid office. Nothing was mentioned in the other colleges’ websites. Does anyone know?

Some unis that talk about this IDOC thing are tufts, stanford, harvard…

Any ideas anyone?

Okay, this thread is really dead…

no eatyoualive! atleast i m here! I am sure evryone is bz giving some final touches to the apps.
& IDOCs mostly do not apply for int. students. sorry, i do not knw much.

IDOC is for US citizens only.

Deadlines are fast approaching guys. Make sure you proofread and cross check everything.

okay um stuck … MIT says they will accept commonapp evals and reports … but we have to either mail or fax them … now I have the completed commonapp softcopies online, but theyr print previews with preview written all over it … i cant print these things … now what ? :’(

I got my teachers to do them by hand, and then I DHLed them. Why don’t you print them out after you log in, and ask your teachers to fill out the reports? just print out the soft copy of the rec letter you have, i m sure you have on in your pc.
