You are a waste of internet and not worth any more of my words Priti878.

Though I would recommend you stop stalking me on Facebook, this is pretty creepy, I don’t even know who you are.

Good god. Someone get that girl some English lessons.

Just gonna drop two cents of my own opinion here …

This elitist competition regarding kids going to “Top schools” in the US should stop. No, really. What everyone does to get into the college that they go to is a matter of their own, and none of us should judge them. Someone who gets into ANY school in the US gets in not only because they are capable, but also because those colleges think that they will be a great addition to their community. If you’re not capable, no amount of begging will get you into any school in the US, let alone the top ones.

That being said, this competition is baseless. Getting into a great school is just the first battle won - there is SO MUCH to do in the three/four years that you’ll spend in any undergraduate institution, anywhere in the world. It isn’t which school you go to that makes you great, it is what you make of the education that they provide you that makes you successful in life. So people would get a lot more done if they weren’t bickering over the “medium debate” and/or shamelessly debasing another great member of our community.

Best of luck and many congratulations to the class of 2018 for flying the Red-Green flag even higher!

hello
is there anyone doing IB? im an o level student, and I cant decide between A levels or IB as both has pros and cons for me.

Refer to Bangladeshis Beyond Border group in Facebook since people are more active there and I can’t really help you out because I don’t have much idea about IB. But, if you need any info on A’levels, you can ask me. Personally, I would have gone with A’level simply because of the large amount of resources available for it in Bangladesh (teachers, schools, coaching, friends who did it before, etc).

how is A level Further math? Can anyone describe their experience with it?

Never took it. But I hear the stuff you learn can help make 1st year math easier. But in terms of admission, I never saw the point of taking Further Math instead of something more useful. Though, its my opinion, not a fact.

Hello everyone I am from Bangla medium , hope this thread is not dead(I need a myriad of help).
But I have to admit last few pages were ridiculous !

I was thinking about applying to US colleges this fall…bt my a2 grades are not as good as I expected them to be( i got 1A*,2A,2B )…moreover in order to study I need a good financial aid package…my parents can afford till $8-9k.So any suggestions on what university I can give ED? I am planning to study an engineering major.
You require good SAT score, stellar EC and good GPA for getting admitted in good U.S Uni. Getting Aid by International Students is very difficult now a days.Good luck (actually luck does not matter very much here).
Is there any one here who has applied ED at Cornell CoE?
ED result is coming out shortly. Any hopeful?
Cornell result will be out on 10th instant. Any hopeful?
I want to , can you help me?
I want to study in hkust . any Bangladeshi from there?
@NBZ @amyharvard @YoBDa where are you guys when I need you most.
What do you need, @Anonghost ?
I am currently in 12th,will be giving hsc next year. I want to study in a internationally renowned university . I want to prepare myself from now . I need some guidance.it would be great if you could guide me.
I have decent eca, and am confident of getting pretty good sat mark. I am also confident of getting a+ in all subjects in hsc. But only problem I have is I have really marks in my internal college exams(9-12) will it be a huge problem?
