<p>I very much enjoyed it. It seems there’s a lot in play that could get very interesting (eg husband).</p>
<p>I loved the first episode! James Spader is great in this role. Just wanted tn mention that Harry Lennix, a Chicagoan and NU alum, is a good and accomplished actor. I saw him perform on stage a few times when he was a young man just starting out as a professional actor in Chicago.</p>
<p>Anyone still watching? They are still trying to make us think he’s her father. It still seems too easy? Also where’s Tom???</p>
<p>I wonder if Ray is the one who killed her father (set the house on fire?), for some reason, but then pulled Lizzy our, which is why he has the burns. It obviously has something to do with the daughter of Berlin, but just what, I have no idea.
And Tom somehow got out alive. He’s too charismatic a character to kill off. They’ll bring him back at some point, I think.</p>

<p>That’s an interesting possibility, and wouldn’t that make Lizzy Berlin’s grand daughter? Would that put her in more or less danger? I’m not sure.</p>
<p>James Spader was at the restaurant we were at few weeks ago. D1 recognized him right away. It was a very small restaurant, so we had a pretty good view of him. It is one of my favorite shows.</p>
<p>Jealous! Think he’s one of best actors out there. I just got back from a meeting, did I miss the final?</p>
<p>I stopped watching it after a few episodes, so now I feel I have to go back and watch it from the beginning again to figure out what’s going on. Maybe over the summer…</p>
<p>Still watching. This show could be so good with smarter characters and better writing. Can you really be as dense and clueless as these people and work for an elite unit within the FBI or CIA? How many times do you go into a killer’s den with just your partner - even Woody Harrelson called it in first in True Detective! - so that one of you can get conked on the head, or worse (goodbye Meera) when you inevitably separate to catch the bad guy all by yourself? The head of the task force is so dumb that Red has to light the cartoon lightbulb over his head multiple times per episode.</p>
<p>James Spader is carrying the entire cast, except for possibly Ryan Eggold. It must be exhausting but he makes it look easy. </p>
