I’m not sure if you’re ■■■■■■■■ or not, but a modicum of research will show you that what you’ve said isn’t correct. 
I know it may seem hard to believe, but bronies don’t watch the show ironically–they watch it because it’s a really good show. There’s a reason shows like Strawberry Shortcake and Dora the Explorer don’t have adult fanbases: there’s not much in those shows that appeals to anyone over the age of 12. Most shows for little girls are sickening (IMO). However, MLP:FiM is very well written, has lots of humor, is terrifically animated, and has memorable characters. Also, while some debate whether or not brony is a gender-neutral term, girls comprise roughly 16% of the adult fan base of the show.</p>
<p>StudiousMaximus, dear, I am indeed a brony. The term “brony” is gender neutral–and I’m not longing for my childhood, I’m enjoying a really good show and an awesome fan base. Considering most “girly” cultures make me want to weep for humanity, I definitely identify more with the brony fan base than the target audience

<p>Urbandictionary confirms that brony describes a male fan. “Pegasister” is apparently the name given for a female fan. So, TARDISgirl, you are officially a pegasister! It only makes sense that brony is attributable only to males because it is “bro” + “pony”–and bro is a shortened form of brother, which describes males.</p>

<p>In season three I’d like to see more Luna, the return of Trixie, some Celestia/Luna lore, a Scootaloo backstory/Scootaloo learns to fly, Sweetie Belle learns to use magic (and blows something up in the process), the CMC gets their cutie marks, a Doctor Whooves lines–in an English accent, preferably mentioning time and it’s wibbly wobbly properties–and lots of Derpy ;)</p>
