<p>I’m Jewish, and my school is the first public school in Southern California to teach Hebrew…we’re a charter that just started up two years ago. About twenty kids went. The Hebrew teacher and one of the science teachers at our school were born in Israel.</p>
<p>Half-jew reporting in. All of my jewish friends have either gone to Israel or are going sometime soon. How was your trip?</p>
<p>I don’t even have an ounce of Judaic blood, but I like the faith and its history. Fascinating stuff.</p>
<p>Did you visit the Western/Wailing Wall?</p>
<p>dfree124: The trip was absolutely amazing. I really hope I get the chance to return to Israel one day–it was such a fantastic experience. I loved every second of it.</p>
<p>GrammerNazi: That’s really cool that you find Jewish faith and history interesting. I do as well–and not only because it is my heritage. I did indeed visit the Western Wall. It was a very emotional and religious experience. </p>
