The Cafe Watering Hole: PART DEUX

I was thinking something like this, you know, symbolism. I may attach it to my Chicago application, just for fun.

I have oodles of nothing. You know why? Oodles is a stupid word.

Did this happen after some crazy drunkfest in Tijuana? Don’t let me down and say you put it on there yourself

Very nice. That will do. Of course, Chicago would think it’s best if you wrote an essay about it. But I suppose that’s optional.

I went to a Mexican restaurant tonight for dinner, and they had a country music band there. COUNTRY. In a MEXICAN restaurant. I was quite irked.

Well, as long as you weren’t annoyed.

I have to go school tomorrow. Since I missed last week, everyone’s going to say how much they missed me and my wit.

They didn’t.

Oh my god, AdBlock Plus is DINO-MITE.

So I’m on the Mayor’s Youth Council, which seems to be pretty much a glorified volunteer opportunity, where I’m supposed to “learn” about “city” “government.” I couldn’t understand half the people in there. I realized I live in a bubble, and as soon as you go more than 3 miles south of my school, the accents are thicker than the humidity.

Bubbles can be fun sometimes.

I hate thick humidity.

Someone has apparently been busy on the Yale forums, judging from that someone’s post count.

I need to have a productive week this week.

Saying goodbye to one of my best friends today was way sadder than I thought it was going to be. And two more leave in a few days. Life is changing, that’s for sure.

I have weird relationships with my friends. I usually just talk to all my best friends online, and we only see each other every once in a while. So as long as I have time to IM with them, it won’t really feel any different.

It is quite lamentable that there are no copy and photo printing shops in my area.

My best best best best friend who took a gap year is leaving on Sunday but we’re having our last hurrah tonight because she’s going to be all stressed out Fri and Sat. I think I may cry.

But on another note, I looove my life at home and school and I can’t wait to go back. Although I’m not looking forward to the 75% Econ schedule I have first semester.

ALSO. I miss the old classic cafe that was grooving during my application process. Awww. AND PS MY OLD THREAD IS STILL GONE.

That’s all.

I have a whole lot of nothing going on.

God, I hate Pitchfork. It’s full of obscurely pretentious hip pop and hip hop that they think they’re supposed to like.

I am making a silly photo collage for my dorm. I think it’s going to take me all week to get it right.

It’s weird for everyone here to be back in school, and I’m still doing my own thing.

I don’t want no scrubs. A scrub is a guy who can’t get no love from me, hanging out the passenger side of his best friend’s ride, trying to holler at me.

Summer life has come to a screeching halt. Curse you, quarter system.

So how’s the back, snoop?

It’s a robot spine. Doesn’t hurt anymore.

Brilliant, you’re bionic now.
