The Cafe Watering Hole: PART DEUX

The envelope my certificate came in was halfway open. Invest in tape, College Board.

I’m sure the Canadian pronounces Arctic Monkeys with an obnoxious French accent, it’s fun.

15 Kanye-related status updates, and only one about iCarly at the VMAs.

Mine was the one about iCarly.

I think my Princeton rejection letter was open completely when I got it.

Way to be original. And I missed all of it other than the clip I saw on the MTV website of Kanye. I giggled.

I’d say my entire news feed is just a liveblog of the VMAs.

Nice with the 1500 posts.

And, I’m going to cryptic and snoopy and say I had a crappy, crappy night.

1500 doesn’t spell anything cool in leet, so I don’t really care.

And I’m sure you did.

SINCE I’M THE ONLY ONE WITHOUT COMMITMENT ISSUES I GUESS I’LL POST ALL BY MY LONESOME.

“To help the reviewers get to know you, describe an experience you have had, a person who has influenced you, or an obstacle you have overcome. Explain why this is meaningful. Use your own words and limit your response to the space below.”

I’m going to just write something quick for my National Merit application. I think I’ll pick the influential person option; but who? I could go the ironically bland route and do someone like…Hillary Clinton, or I could go the doubly ironic cute/clever route and do…Harry Potter, or something like that. WHO SHOULD I CHOOSE? My counselor wants to send the stuff in on Saturday, so…hustle, folks.

Also, two girls who sit at my lunch table have swine flu. I expect to die soon, so pray to Allah or Jesus or Obama, infidels.

Taylor Swift, because she’s tall.

This just may be your longest post ever.

Glee is still awesome.

And I move on Sunday. Finally.

Pick a real person.

Beyonce.

If you like it then you shoulda put a ring on it.

Oh my god. I’m being serious. Oh my god. Realistic person.

And true that.

Kim Jong-il. Perfect.

He taught you that a little self-confidence goes a long way.

If you want to be sure to be a finalist, however, just write it about Michelle Obama. Srsly.

I like Michelle Obama. But not her. I wish I knew a little kid with cancer, that essay would be an award winner.

What about the girl who started the lemonade stands for cancer research? I don’t remember her name at the moment.

You could also pick a soldier story. Pat Tillman would be a good one.

Or I could pick MY FATHER. But I won’t.

I think I’ll just finish my real college essay this weekend and see if that’ll work for my NMS application. I think it will. I have a gimmick for it; I’m so lovable.

I think The Office has finally sort of, sort of redeemed itself.

Also, CC is stupid for thinking I would want to connect it with Facebook.

You and your hipster twop Office criticisms.

AND THANK YOU. Why would I connect two utter wastes of time?

To make one big waste of time?

I leave tomorrow morning. It really doesn’t feel real yet.

It’ll feel real when you’re up at 3 am sucking down Red Bulls and slim jims in an effort to finish a rhetorical analysis.

Not that I’d know, though, really.

if you are bored try this program, pretty funny to convert your friends photos into cartoons  http://sharefriends.us/PhotoToCartoon

Ooh. Melikes fast internet. And my room seriously needs a paint job.
