The Cafe Watering Hole: PART DEUX

Anthropology is essentially suicide.

Also, I wasn’t aware of the multiple meaning of mixtapes. You know, Canadian oblivion.

One of the complains about the dorm I picked is that it’s too far from everything. The site said it’s a 5-10 minute walk from the main quad. So I trekked to Google Earth and used the measuring tool. The distance from the far end of the dorm to the far end of the academic building is the same distance as my walk to work, which takes me three minutes and thirty seconds. People must walk even slower than I thought.

Europe.

How is anthropology essentially suicide? Inquiring minds.

That’s how.

Good thing I’m not Canadian then. I’d like to study Native Americans.

I’m taking the ACT tomorrow. It’s required.

My bonnie lies over the ocean.

I don’t particularly care how I’ll do.

Yeah. You already got a score higher than mine, and I got into UChicago.

I basically didn’t care about the ASVAB. That test is so funny. On the electrical part, I guessed on probably 75% of the questions. However, I somehow still scored way above average. Hm.

Did you take the SAT? I won’t. Just SAT IIs because I’m a masochist or something.

My friend’s school soccer team is ridiculous.

Yeah, I did. My score wasn’t that fantastic. 2110. Epic fail by CC standards

I’m planning the end of my novel now.

That’s really good, jb.

The more I think about the ACT the more nervous I get because after 9 I refuse to do anything so I effectively have half an hour to study and now my sentences are running on and I think I’ll do the online review and gauge how late I’ll stay up.

You’ll be fine, just go to sleep and eat something before you go to school. Reviewing now won’t do much.

Fun fact, I took the ACT twice, and scored higher when I had a broken finger on my writing hand.

I’m relying on review from the past two days in English, during which I drew pictures and read a book. I effing hate that class, so now I am going to have to take it in the fall, unless a miracle occurs.

Miracles happen, just like in The Princess Diaries, you betcha.

A miracle put me at UChicago. It most certainly couldn’t have been academic achievement.

I always break all the rules for standardized tests. I stay up until my usual time, and I hardly eat anything for breakfast. Oh, and the most scandalous of all. You know how the directions say to read the passage and then answer the questions? Well, I take a sneak peak at the questions before I read. E-gasp.

As odd as it sounds, I sort of enjoy standardized testing.

I wish cc could come to my school. Oh, the laughs that would be had.

God I loved this song. It made me want to buy all my clothes at Limited Too and be just like Princess Mia.

Shut up, boys.

CC would laugh way harder at my school. My entire district has fewer than 600 students in grades K-12. You can’t compete with that.

I strongly dislike polymerization and all organic chemistry.

When will I ever need to know the difference between ketones and aldehydes and esters in “the real world”?

Never.

Ridic.

act.

Acting is fun. LOL.

I’m so glad I have the SAT done with. I’ve got one of my subject tests down already, I’m taking chem in May, and then I’ll decide if I’m going to bother with Math II next year. It all depends on whether or not I choose to apply to Harvard. Assuming I get into both Harvard and Yale, I look forward to turning down Harvard. lololegoboost.
