Canadian money is cooler than American money.

Also, The Metamorphosis is so, so, so good. I reeeeally like it. But I know a lot of people won’t like it.

My English teacher said that we’d spend a lot of time reading The Handmaid’s Tale because it’s really “long and hardcore, just how [she] likes it.” No, I am not lying.

That… made my day, Canadian. Tell your teacher a certain American would love her.

Feminism is exceedingly dense sometimes.

My ToK teacher thinks all guys should read The Second Sex by Simone de Beauvoir but I refuse because Sartre had a lazy eye.

It’s never too late to brush up on that pesky past conditional tense, Mike.

“She would of been a good woman,” The Misfit said, “if it had been somebody there to shoot her every minute of her life.”

I’m in love with this line.

I didn’t write it, Yak. Someone with an award named after them did.

That’s how people talk in the south, didn’t ya know?

Ooh, Illinoisian vitriol.

I never really thought of calling that past conditional. I’m not good with the technicality of grammar, mostly because I never really learned it. I just seem to know enough to make it work.

I know so many technical terms because of French and because I’m weird that way. I don’t ever remember consciously learning the names of the tenses, though.

I’m in an extremely good mood and Let It Be seems 50 thousand times more amazing than it ever was before.

No, I am not under the influence of illicit substances.

I hate the word amazing, but you already knew that.

Why so happy?

I know why he’s happy.

But today I am not happy. Not anymore.

And I hope the Spice Girls do well for me. That’s all.

You should tell me why there is Canadian happiness and Walla Walla sadness.

JB, how’d your essay go?

Jolie! :D

rocker, you’ll do great on your sats…

I most definitely won’t.

apush will kill my gpa because my teacher, as good of a lecturer he is, he doesn’t know how to conform to high school standards.

Note 1: The subject of the independent clause needn’t be restated after the relative clause.
Note 2: In this situation, the word “as” should also be placed after the noun “lecturer.”

I had a test on The Metamorphosis today and it was really hard but I think I did well.

And I hope so, Fellow.

I’m taking my Calculus test right now. I’m going to be so unprepared for college.

And I thought I was a grammar Nazi.

Need not, but is.

Tennesseans are funny beings.

Canada are funny beings? Huh.

Gummy bears are perhaps the best things evarr.

I just finished my Calculus test. My teacher gives take home tests, where we also get two class periods to work on it. I had to make up a quiz for part of today’s class, so I only had 25 minutes to work on the test. I almost finished. Just another 10 minutes at home and I was all set. Oh, and it’s all open book, open notes, open homework answer keys he prints off, etc. I’m trying to stay away from relying on the book, because my college calculus classes are going to suck if I don’t know how to memorize stuff.
