Ummmmmmmmmmm, life’s good, I guess. My life lacks the drama that seems to pervade yours.

Do tell me, snoop, who’s going to be the next notemoboy/SB?

Ummmmmmmmmmm, life’s good, I guess. My life lacks the drama that seems to pervade yours.

Do tell me, snoop, who’s going to be the next notemoboy/SB?

I gave up on volunteer hours. I just don’t have time to devote to it. My parents want me to work at every opportunity. I’ve worked almost fifty hours since school started. Eek.

Really jb? I’ve worked about 100 some since school. Then again, Ive been in school for more than a month.

That’s a loaded question, mike.

Of course it is, but I need to prepare acronyms. I’m thinking the new one is going to have to be something ridiculous, closer to notemoboy than SB.

Of course, of course. But I’m afraid you won’t have much to go on.

Ah, so there is someone:D. I wish Joli was back for this.

Eh, not really.

Diversity Day is funny.

Oh, snoop. The classic completely random subject change.

I would tell you about the girls in my classes, but for some reason I get the idea I’d get a lot of “I want to slap you” responses.

Now, the most important decision of the night. Apple or mango?

I took the ASVAB last year. It’s so funny. They have you defining the stupidest words. If you can do SAT sentence completions, you’ll think this is for fifth graders. It’s that bad.

The hardest part is all the mechanical stuff. But the beauty of the ASVAB is that colleges don’t care about it, so you can just guess. It’s more of a diagnostic test, really. They do have one section where you have to do all this crazy math without a calculator. It’s not calculus or anything, but it takes a while without a calculator. It’s things such as calculating sales tax and interest, with long division, etc.

I promise to hold back. Promise.

And mango, duh.

The mango took a while to cut.

That’s fine. Brief Summary.

Physics and Calc not much goin’ on, way too much testosterone. Spanish I’m on the wrong side of the room. There are a couple of cute girls in my gym class, one’s way more fun to talk to, plus we’re partners. AP Lit is all girls, but they’re all way to into the class to talk to. My last class is the best, no one wants to pay attention and I sit in the back corner next to two girls, one’s kind of bitchy, in a funny way though.

There ya go, that’s about it.

JB, let’s hear it, any girls caught your eye this year?

Shoot, you know they be linin’ up for that Ohio playa.

The asterisks could be many things. All girls? Really? Huh.Find the least interested one.

Hah! Are you kidding? I’m too nerdy for even the traditional definition of a nerd. I’m an extreme nerd. So no, no girls have caught my eye. I prefer my girls to be intellectuals. For instance, there’s a girl at my school who wrote “01.2009 - The End of an Error” all over her textbook covers. I love that. That girl is way too weird for it to go anywhere, but I’d much rather see that on a textbook cover than “Live, Laugh, Love” or “BFFs.”

What? Clarify, por favor.

C’mon JB, fess up, you know there’s that one girl in that one class…

I’m always *****y in a funny way. That’s what some random kid told me. And just find a girl that looks the least interested in your AP Lit class and talk to her.

OH MUH GAWD if I see Live Laugh Love one more time, I will vandalize Victoria’s Secret or something.

Oh right, duh. I probably should be paying attention anyways, it’s my worst class.

No one writes on their books here.

Using the purse as a backpack always cracks me up. It looks so ridiculous.

The giant tote bag hauling two books plus the giant binder in their hands makes me giggle.

Lit is nearly impossible to be bad at. Just read the book and act like you agree with the teacher. Works every time.

That’s how I got by in the last 3 years.

This year I have to support my arguments and analyze the text and know the motivation of the narrator. We also aren’t allowed to write essays that agree with the teacher, she said that you can’t get better than a C if you agree with her. It sucks.

Then take the exact opposite and counter her every point. What are you reading now?

Then again, I think teaching lit is pointless, so. Yeah.

Poetry. The really old kind, not the Where The Sidewalk Ends kind.
