The Cafe Watering Hole

I love that song. The best of us can find happiness in misery.

I want a MacBook soooooooo bad. But I’m going to wait at least two more years.

I have lots and lots of stuff to do this weekend. Luckily, it just snowed a bunch today, so I won’t be tempted to go anywhere.

I don’t like chemistry.

A girl in my speech class today told me that she wants to go to business school in France and then stay there for culinary school. I knew this was a stretch. I asked her, “Oh, do you speak French?” She said no. She’s a junior. I was like, “Well, you know you’ll have to take tests in French, right?” She said that maybe she shouldn’t go to college in France. That’s what I thought, too.

I was going to get something done tonight. It’s quite obviously not going to happen.

I love chemistry.

And Heroes.

So.

I need to pee but I’m to lazy to get up

I just planned a terrifying exam preparation schedule. If a psychologist saw it, he or she would probably have me hauled off to the alternative school where I’d learn how to add 4 + 7.

I’ve just decided I’ll work at The World Bank as an economist, specializing in Latin American development. Now all I have to do is get that PhD from Harvard.

That’s pretty swell.

Not if I get there first, you won’t.

Actually, I don’t think I’d want to work at a place like the World Bank. It’s one of those government agencies. You know, the type where if you take away all the interdepartmental memos and quarterly reports and investigations, it’s just a big group of people who aren’t really doing anything. And those types of workplaces get on my nerves. Sure, they communicate with each other, but why? The UN is another example. What does it really achieve?

Topple is the most awesome game ever. Oh, wait. The Canadian doesn’t know that because he exchanged his iPod Touch for a clumsy Classic.

I exchanged my iPod Touch because it wasn’t adequate for me. Why does that constantly have to be brought up? Seriously.

Also: [BBC NEWS | Americas | The ‘misunderestimated’ president?](BBC NEWS | Americas | The 'misunderestimated' president?).

Late, Canadian. Late.

Puh.

I’m going to watch Current TV’s special, W.T.F. (W., Thanks and Farewell)

It will be genius, no doubt.

I am officially insane. I went out in the snow today taking pictures, and it’s snowed about eight inches so far. A friend and I traipsed around in the snow for an hour and a half before we called it quits. I took 130 pictures, but yikes. I think I’m done taking winter pictures now. It’s kind of hard to get good pictures when you keep having to wipe mutant snowflakes off the camera lens.

What movie do I want to watch?

I needz time management skillz more dan cheezburga.

I just took an SAT practice test because I’m retaking the SAT in two weeks. My score is around where I left it, but I got significantly lower than usual in CR. Hmm.

I hope I put everything important on this computer because my old one has been destroyed.

Sigh.

What happened to it? I doubt you destroyed it purposely, since you were going to put Ubuntu on it. Or is that where the problems arose?

My father decided to put Windows 7 Beta on it.

GOD. Good night and good luck.

Good movie.

I have stuff to do. And the playoffs are on. Boo.

I’ve been productive so far. But I really shouldn’t be on here. I still have a mock trial statement and cross examination to write, and a take-home calculus exam at which to pick, formidable accounting notes to take, a Spanish exam for which to study, and a speech exam to practice.

There. I didn’t have one dangling preposition anywhere in there. Ha.

I don’t know if I want to try Windows 7 yet. Snoop, keep me posted. I think I’m going to download it while it’s still available, and then I’ll just keep it until I have a little more time to try such frivolity as a new operating system.
