I can’t believe you guys have started already. I hope you enjoy yourselves as much as last year’s group did. It seems that most of the regulars last year ended up either at Princeton or another Ivy through the RD round. Good Luck to the ED class of 2010!

yeah, according to the stimator i would have to pay only 10-12 k and the rest would be given as aid

anyoen know when the pdfs go on sale? i know a red disclaimer (that is no longer there) said end of August, but i think that might have just been the supplement, since that link is now active. eh i guess nothing to do but wait.

Thanks cookiemom! :)

hi! I will also apply to princeton for regular decision. I am a student from India. I passed by XII exams this year from CBSE. Can any1 tell me about the general SAT scores of Princeton Acceptees?
:)

they’re high… very high. but nothing you can’t handle
basically 25-75% range is mid-1400-high-1500.

Good luck you’se all. bring a tear to my eye when i think about how it was last year. no… wait… it conjures feelings of extreme agitation… getting that damn commonapp.org to work…pos… anyways… good luck again! :D

Thanks for ur wishes…
Is Princeton easier to get in than MIT, Stanford, Harvard, Caltech, Cornell?

With the exception of Cornell, the chances of getting into MIT, Stanford, Harvard, and Caltech are generally the same as Princeton, all hovering around 9-15%. Cornell is a bit higher I think, but I could be wrong.

hobbes, whats ur stats like? and which universities r u aiming for, apart from Princeton?

Hobbes is already a princeton frosh… lucky ;)

oh… I am sorry… Congrats Hobbes… WHats ur Stats? International?

my stats are average considering Princeton’s top. but then again… my location doesn’t exactly allow for as many… er… opportunities.

You said that right. We poor alaskan dorks are mostly just itching to get outta here.

I’m in Sterling at Yale right now… just visited Princeton yesterday.

Major <333s!!! And thanks, cookiemom!

frozen-tears - was that the first time you have visited Princeton? …and if so, didn’t it make you just love it even more? :D

You’re making me jealous ppl… oh did I mention I’m stuck in alaska? The first time I’ll see princeton is… oh, i know! when and if i get to go live there!

Is Princeton easier to get in than MIT, Stanford, Harvard, Caltech, Cornell?

Princeton is usually categorized with Yale, MIT, Stanford, Harvard when talking about selectivity. I think Caltech could be categorized slightly not as selective but still very selective (from what ive heard, i could be wrong). cornell is not as selective as these schools but still pretty selective.

Good luck ed’ers! Keep up our amazing post count =P

haha Orbit, it seems that the most interesting people each year come from alaska…why is that? haha =P

omg, she called us interesting! maybe NOW the lower-48 will recognize alaska as a legitimate state! Whoo hooooo! citizenship, here we comeeeee!

all joking aside, im pretty sure arizona has pretty awesome people. after all… its alaska, arizona… wait. arkansas… no… alabama?
ok, alabama, alaska, arizona, arkansas. the A states are the coolest. BOO YA.

and california is a distant 5th… losers.
