The Class of 2010 ED Thread/Roster

Of course it did. The lack of topic emanates the temporal and philosophical bond that is the epitomy of the utmost level of intellectual discussion…

Right.

Oh, stop it Orbit… You know i don’t speak Spanish.

(I heart Anchorman :D)

After long weeks of debating…I’m going with Pton ED. ^_^

Hi I’m new to CC (please excuse any mistakes), though I’ve been reading some of the posts (pretty cool). I thought I should make my splash in the applicant pool. I’m from North Carolina (anyone else? I feel alone). I feel strange appyling ED to P-ton because most students in NC end up at Duke, Chapel Hill, NC State, Wake Forest, etc, etc (not necessarily in that order). I almost feel the same way, since many other students have even turned down some of the top schools to stay in NC. So, keep that in mind as I am. The Woodrow Wilson school and the econ dept. appeal to me, two of many reasons why P-ton is attractive. Good Luck!

Count me in too!

I am applying to Princeton not because it is an Ivy school but because it meets my needs and hopefully I will meet theirs! I am from the Mid-Atlantic and am an IB student (public school). My fav movie is The Notebook and I want to study Chemistry and Latin American Cultures & Spanish. I also want to join Princeton’s Synchronized Skating Team!!!

The Notebook? I have not seen it. I’m not necessarily athletic, but I enjoy backpacking (on the Appalachian Trail, of course) and cycling. Princeton’s Outdoor Action sounds awesome, and hopefully I’ll try the cycling team. Oh yeah, I loooove Disc Golf and Ultimate Frisbee. I used to watch Seinfeld and the Simpsons religiously, now I watch Family Guy and Curb Your Enthusiam with Larry David:cool:. I go to a public school as well, yet unfortunately our social studies program is not as strong as I would like it to be. I want to take the Foreign Service exam eventually, though I probably won’t end up in Latin America, sorry:)

The Notebook is kind of a ‘chick flick’ although some guys like it too. I guess it depends what message you get out of it. For me, it is about living your own life and following your own dreams, knowing what is best for you vs. what someone “thinks” is best for you.

I am into the outdoors as well, but more along the lines of horse back riding, white water rafting, zip-line tours. I am enjoy learning about rain forests and volcanos.

But Latin American studies is pretty high on my list (right under figure skating). I love listening to Latin American music (in Spanish of course); learning about different L.A. cultures, Salsa, traditions and the history!

Foreign Service Exam? Impressive!

Hey guys! if you get accepted, will you pick outdoor action or community service action?! For me, its a no brainer…Outdoor Action! (not that I don’t like Community service)

Hope to see some of you guys in the woods!

Crunch time almost over. Hang in there everyone. Hope to hear from ALL of you saying “Big Fat Yes!” on December 15th!

Ah, how I hope you’re right. Maybe they have a special quota for CCers :D

in reference to Orbit’s last post…does this mean i should have started my essays by now? #@($*&@ procrastination

Count me in!

i started my essay last night too…after coming back from the homecoming football game.

While some of it was procrastination…I also honestly did not find the time to write’em…and it is all because of school-related stuff. I wasn’t watching TV, playing videogames or going to movies.

Anyways, I just hope I get in…I REALLY wanna go to Princeton.

Good luck to all you guys too. I hope all of us get in :)

Hi guys! I’m from Brazil and am applying ED to Princeton too. Starting my essays today!!

Hope to see you all there!

Everything is in…it is going to be a loooooonnnng month and a half

kristian_rj…u are starting ALL ur essays TODAY!!! omg u better hurry.

Wow! You are very ambitious, all those essays in 2 days?!?!?! Best of luck!!!

1 essay/day

ouch…thats cramming it.

I still haven’t written essays that I like so I’m doing that as well. 2 days = 48 hours = plenty of time!
