<p>slippery I am from KY also. Hardly no one in my area is thinking of a big school, but I know everyone in class of 06’ is definately ready to leave KY. I know I am. Being in Milwaukee for the past week is nothing like going to louisville or lexington. I don’t want school to start this august. Portfolios. Does your school require them in order to graduate. Our school does. Only half of the seniors graduate on time at my school because the Teachers and yes the teachers grade them and Hate most of all of them which bites. If I get an apprentice on mine. I’ll be happy, it’s not like the college I want to go to is going to see it anyway. BTW, Princeton is an awesome choice. Good luck on your application this Fall. I hope to see yah there. <p>hey, cool, kentuckians! we have quite the geographically diverse ED crowd here… kentucky, california, texas, alabama… and, of course, nj! (that’s me ;)). have you guys all visited, then? i mean, that must be a big deal… i guess you’d have to fly here, right? i’m only 45 minutes away from pton, so i could drive down, obviously, lol.</p>
<p>Wow I can’t believe I only found this thread now! I’ve been in love with Princeton since december of last year, and am definately applying ED.
A little about me…I’m from Michigan, want to major in math or psychology (Frozen-tears: I love calculus too! lol), and my favorite movie is American Beauty. I have a very immature sense of humor, so naturally my other favorite movies are American Pie (all of them) and Austin Powers (all of them), and I can watch Kill Bill over and over again. I can’t live without Harry Potter or swimming (I’m not an athlete though - I do it for fun). I’m really looking forward to getting to know all of you, hopefully we’ll fill up this message board like the 09’ers :)</p>

im sarcastic till the end, and kind of cynical about everything. this is my first time on cc and reading everyone elses stats has given me a vast inferiority complex which im choosing to ignore in favor of my large preexistent ego. im a science person, although im not def premed or phd. theres always room for change, and a penny saved is a penny earned.

my favorite movies include office space and ferris buellers day off. on tv (i watch waaay too much tv) i love the 70s house, entourage, arrested development, gilmore girls, best week ever, the oc, scrubs, the daily show (i will stop right here to try and save wtvr dignity i have left)

and a prize (and by prize i mean emotional gratitude?) to those who can give me the best reasons to choose princeton over harvard/yale.
after those three, im applying to penn, brown, brandeis, (duke), columbia, hopkins and i need more safties…any ideas for safety schools? keep in mind that id prefer to leave nyc.

<p>yeah, but I def. must take the SAT I and SATII this Fall. I studying for them at the moment. AT my school we can only take teh SAT in our Senior year, and that’s after we take the PSAT in our Junior year. My school seriously bites. I wish I went to a Private school my Freshman year. So I’m Pretty much screwed over if my school decides not to host the SAT on their normal dates.</p>

<p>Go with the one that you like better. If that’s princeton, then go for it! You’ll be kicking yourself for the rest of your life if you don’t get into pton RD but you might have had a better shot ED. Or if you decide you like Harvard better, go with that. I would be careful about letting your legacy dictate where you apply, though.</p>

<p>yes, princeton is awesome. i tripped running back from the mailbox today out of excitement over what i thought would be the pton app, but turned out to be the ninth pton viewbook i have.</p>

<p>I’m probably doing the common – just so I can write the extra essay – and submitting in paper, because I find the online form annoying.</p>

<p>You know I just realized that we can’t escape application fees. SI~GH. I’d been hoping that we could drag out our apps not due by Dec. 15 until we found out our decisions and then pay then if we have to apply in the first place, but it kinda looks like we have to feed all of the other schools money first. :(</p>
<p>koala, can’t we send supplements separate from the app? like do the app online and then send music or art things etc. through regular mail…</p>
