i’ve been hearing stuff like international students are more likely to get into schools which want looooots of diversity and stuff, but how true is that,and how much does that factor come into play by the adcomm while actually looking through applications?
and will ‘diversity’ still be a top priority especially under the reign of donald trump, where students are randomly getting their visas rejected?

Intangibles like diversity are nice, but at the end of the day, it’s mostly about money.
A white international student who can pay $60,000 per year is a lot more likely to get in than an international student of color who can pay $30,000 (or less.)
