Here you need 4 gym credits to graduate. 1 credit = 1 semester. I have 2.58 because this year they changed it from 1 credit to .58 credits. So now I have to take gym this semester and all of my senior year. Some kids who were “deficient” on credits because they took music too long were put in a 0 period gym that’s still worth 1 credit. They have caught up now and should be taken out because juniors are strictly prohibited from doubling gym unless they are deficient, but the scheduling geniuses at my school can’t tell who’s a junior, so now my friends are going to finish gym this year while I have to take it for the rest of high school.

And she REFUSES to put me in that class.

*“Are” definitely sounds wrong but “is” doesn’t sound much better. Which one is right?
