<p>We get our mail at the local Post Office. S is eating dinner right now (time difference). I scanned all the docs and e-mailed them to him. We discussed his feelings about USC extensively. Dad knew what to post. :-)</p>

<p>Seniors in good standing at our HS are allowed off campus privledges at lunch time, so maybe that’s what’s happening here. I can’t even remember the lunch period at our HS today since they are on special schedules for semester finals. Anyway, the timing for our mail delivery can be sporadic, before noon on a Saturday or 5 pm on a weekday and evertyhing in between.</p>

<p>Hey Squidge- Can you tell us if any financial stuff was contained within that precious package (i.e. scholarship money)?</p>
<p>tokdoc, in the past there has not been scholarship info included in the early admission packets. The scholarship letters followed the admission packet by a couple of days to a week.</p>
<p>But in the meantime … </p>
<p>Surfs up future Trojans! Let’s see some more people ride in on the wave of first acceptances. And just remember if you’re not up yet, your wave may be coming and the first wave isn’t always the best one.</p>

<p>Alamemom-Thanks for that info. Would it be safe to assume that those receiving the earliest packages have the best stats? It seems from looking at last year’s threads, the weaker applicants got their acceptances later (in general).</p>
<p>Congrats early admits! There was a trick to find out what scholarship you were up for by logging in to reserve your place at Explore. Once you logged in, it displayed something like “Congratulations on being a candidate for the Trustee Scholarship!” It just started working today… Don’t get too stressed about it - it didn’t let people log in until a few days after acceptance.
