The Gallery-Take Out Express-Food allergies/ intolerances

There is a high chance that I may be allergic to gluten, and monosodium glutamate. I notice Michigan State University has a new dinning facility/ service known as The Gallery. So far from what I searched, I couldn’t find information on how food intolerance/ allergy friendly is the cafertiera. As I notice with Purdue ( Wiley Dinning Court), gluten free bread and pizza crust ( surprised) is available upon request. Anyone know things about The Gallery with food intolerances, mainly speaking of gluten and monosodium glutamate ( in case this is what I’m intolerant to).

A lot of stuff in the Gallery is made to order and can be customized for your dietary concerns. I had to contact them to ask about another food allergy (lactose intolerant and a vegetarian) and they said it wouldn’t be a problem.

All you have to do is contact them before-hand and they will work with you. It’s not a big deal, a lot of people have special dietary needs.

EDIT: http://msutrition.hfs.msu.edu/Form2.aspx?topicID=root&doOnEntry=yes&unit=30&process=GoalsAndUnits&procID=6&parent=30</a>

Here you can see what’s on the menu for your dietary needs.

One of my friends has Celiac’s disease (can’t eat wheat-gluten) and lived in Sny-Phi last year. They provided gluten-free bread, pizza crust, cookies, etc. for her and they would let her know what menu items were gluten-free.

^

( I think I’m gluten and monosodium glutamate intolerance, I’m starting to see improvements since I’ve eliminated both)

Oh wow gluten free cookies, do you have to have a doctors note etc… to hace access to the gluten menu ( cookies, pizza crust etc…)

I’m not sure. She complains about people stealing the gluten-free cookies all the time, so if you do, it’s not very secure.

No, you don’t need a doctor’s note. Just tell them and they will work with you.

^

Oh, well that will be helpful

Thanks for the replies,

( I guess most of my questions have been answered on this thread… but would like to be inform about more information related to this topic)
