Haha,
I just thought it would be a good idea to at least recognize each other on the boards You know, trade school visit stories, interview tips etc.
Haha, mabey I’m a loser, but whatever. I still want as much help as I can get and I’m sure everyone else does, too! So…talk away!

Hey, I’m Sarah! How are you doing? Well, I visited Kent, Taft, and Foxcroft. I loved all three schools, the campuses were all beautiful. My favorite was probably Kent. Have you visited anywhere yet?

I’ve visited Miss Porters and my would-be safety but my parents thought that even if I was admitted to my “safety” then it wouldn’t even be worth the money to even go to.
Kent is literally 20 min away from my house!!

Deerfield is to generic for me. To clean. I havnt looked at the Gunnery. I already have 5 schools and they all take the common application. Mabey I could look at a few more but a girl can only pay so many application fees :)

ya i know about application fees. my mom said i could apply to five, so that’s what i’m doing. i’ve seen exeter and andover. loved them both, but exeter is a little scary! :)

Why did you think that Exeter was scary. We didn’t feel that at all. It also had a very flexible schedule with athletics in the early afternoon, so that student s could participate in club activities at night. For my son, it was a great fit, but we have heard a lot of people comment on how sacry and stressful it appears.

I’m applying to schools with less then 750 kids. My school now has 1300 and thats what i’m trying to escape from.
So I decided to apply to 5, also. St Georges, Hotchkiss, Blair, MPS, and Loomis

warriorboy- don’t get me wrong, i LOVED Exeter! i would died of delight if i got in, it’s just all those brick buildings all smashed together like that and it was pretty stormy weather that day which didn’t create the happiest effect. But exeter is one of two schools that i REALLY REALLY REALLY want to gte in to!

cookie- i agree about the small thing! if it’s too small, then there’s less people your age and your gender, and only a few of those people in your dorm, and a few of tHOSE people might be mean, which really limits your choices on friends. but in other ways it would be cool to go to a smaller school because if people were nice it would be kinda like a big extended family where everybody knows everybody!

hockeygirl…you should look at Brooks great coaching, young team, great facilities, beautiful place, great college placement, wonderful place for athletes, especially females.

anyone here besides me look at holderness? small school but pretty campus and friendly group of students. their skiing program is top of the line with olympic level training.

im not looking at holderness, but im almost sure my 8th grade science teacher went there. very outdoorsey type from what ive heard. its very in the woods. what did you think of it?
