This scholarship would greatly help me cover the costs of nursing school, making my education more manageable. It would allow me to focus on my studies without the added financial stress, bringing me one step closer to my goal of becoming a nurse and making a positive impact in healthcare.

I would use the $1k to help offset the tuition/room/board costs at Embry-Riddle. I am so nervous about student debt, and I want to do everything I can to minimize loans. This would help me get one step closer to a Meteorology BS!

If I get the 1K, I would be able to go to a university outside from where I live, which is my dream so I could get a bachelor’s and in the future go into med school.

If I’m given the funds I will use it to pay back my loan that I took to further my education, and I will use the rest for the next year and get study materials, this will go a long way for me because it will help me focus more on my studies too.

To help pay towards college which will help me achieve my dream of being a lawyer.

If I received the $1,000 scholarship, I would put it toward my first semester’s tuition! :purple_heart:

I intend to major in software engineering at UCI, and I will be grateful for any help I can get financially. Winning any scholarships would help me achieve my goal of becoming a great software engineer. I want to be able to graduate college debt-free so I won’t be stressed by the financial part of college. I hope I win this scholarship, and I am very grateful for this opportunity. I come from a low-income family, so getting a higher education can be challenging to pay for.

I would use this scholarship to help me with the cost of tuition next year. This year I didn’t receive as many scholarships as I’d hoped, and my parents had to pay some out of pocket. This was very stressful for us, as it made us tight on money. This money would help me lessen this burden on me and my family.

I would use this scholarship to help pay for my supplies for classes. I plan on taking a lot of art classes so I would use this money to help pay for supplies that I enjoy and that would allow me to practice these art forms at home on my own time. I am also working towards buying a car to transport me to and from classes.

I would use this scholarship towards my tuition. I haven’t received plenty of scholarship And I really want to go to college to become a healthcare worker! It would help me further my education without financial hardship and lift a wait off my parents so they don’t have to take much out for loans, especially since I have a twin sister going to college with me too. This scholarship would help tremendously toward my dreams and goals since me and my family are poor.

I’d use the $1,000 scholarship to invest in my future as a student-athlete and aspiring sports scientist. Between SAT prep, training, and research projects, every dollar counts toward my education and football development. This scholarship would help cover resources like gym memberships, study materials, and even certifications to advance my knowledge in sports science. My goal is to combine academics and athletics to make a real impact in the field—and this scholarship would be a game-changer!

I would put the money towards getting my degree in MT.

I would use the scholarship money towards my tuition and lab costs. Since my major is science based I will need to cover the extra cost of labs and this scholarship would be of great help. My future college self will be very appreciative of the help with covering the basic costs of college.

If I were awarded the 1,000 dollars I would use it to help me pay for college. Being the third kid in my family to go through the college system, any help I can get to help fund my college tuition would be very helpful to my family.

I would like to continue working as a volunteer summer camp counselor as I have done for the past three years. Out of everything in my life camp has had the greatest positive impact on my personal growth and I’ve seen even just one week have the same effect on several of my capers. It’s a place where we get to show campers sometimes for the first time what it’s like to be genuinely cared about, to have fun, and to work as a team. To do that, I need to find a few jobs to get 40 hours of work a week, work weekends during the summer, and get a 20-hour-a-week job during my freshmen year, after taking the maximum amount of loans I can. Even after that, I’ll barely be able to pay for college on time. If I can get enough money in scholarships like these to at least not have to take subsidized loans, and maybe cut down my work time when I’m a full-time student :), I’d be very relieved.

I would use the potential funds to support my need for books and research/study material.

As a student that oscillates between my career choice and my parent’s financial burden, I would potentially use whatever the amount is, big or small, to cover up the expenses of the U.S. undergraduate college expenses.

More information: I’m majoring in Biology with a prospective minor in Neuroscience, aligning in the pre-med track!

That’s a great application of the scholarship! Nursing school is such a worthy endeavor, and taking the financial burden away can make all the difference in your ability to concentrate and excel. Your ambition to become a nurse and help shape healthcare for the better is such an inspiring one—good luck with your aspirations!
