I would use it toward my cybersecurity degree - I am determined to protect people from cybercrime and cyberfraud. I believe technology should help, not hurt, people.
I would use the $1000 scholarship to offset the costs of my senior year tuition at Howard University, so that I can put more of a focus toward gaining more internship experience in my desired career field, rather than stressing about how I will pay for and complete my last year of college.
I would use the money to help pay for my tuition, housing, and book costs. I would get my bachelor’s degree and would study marine biology.

I’m going to use this money to go towards my college tuition. I committed to Bentley University for volleyball and I got a partial scholarship and I need a little more, to be able to attend without having to get a student loan.
If I were awarded this $1,000 scholarship, I would use it to not only aid tuition and university expenses but also costs in the pursuit of attending. For example, one major stress that this money could relieve for me is the application fees that come with every school. Having extra support would allow me to cast a wider net and explore my chances at a greater range of schools. I hope this will serve my long-term goals of attending medical school and becoming an ophthalmologist, and helping my community. As a junior in high school, I hope that I can achieve my goals while not having to fret excessively about the financial burden.
I would use this scholarship to fund my double BFA in Interior Design and Psychology major! I dream of helping other people, and I’m extremely passionate about interior design and psychology – I won a national FCCLA interior design competition and currently am awaiting on the results for my AP Psychology exam. Getting these degrees would allow me to create environments for people where they feel happy and comfortable, or go into clinical psychology and help people with their problems! This $1000 would significantly help my parents, as we all together moved to the United States, and they have been working extremely hard to provide for me and my sister.
I would use the money to help fund my undergrad education (pre-chiropractic) at Wisconsin Lutheran College.
I would use the $1,000 to help pay for room and board.

If I am awarded this scholarship, I will use it towards covering my first semester at college. I want to become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and I’m aware that there is a lot of schooling involved. This scholarship would really help me start things off in good standing.

As a high school student wanting to be a CRNA, this scholarship would greatly help me achieve this goal of being able to make a difference in patients lives and I would be so thankful to do this with the help of this scholarship!
Going to college for the first time does scare me. While college opens a new path full of opportunities and discoveries, it all comes with a hefty price tag, so the $1000 scholarship funds will help out a lot. College is, without a doubt, getting ridiculously expensive to attend each year, and for me and my immigrant parents, college feels more and more daunting to attend. However, receiving $1000 in scholarship funds means less financial stress and a couple of steps closer toward academic success and future prosperity. This scholarship is not just financial aid - it’s a stepping stone toward my dreams, ambitions, education, and my parent’s hope for a better future.
If I were to be awarded $1,000, I would use it for funding my education and future endeavors in the healthcare industry. Some of it would go towards purchasing textbooks and learning materials required for my college courses. These devices would equip me with the information and means required for scholastic achievement. Moreover, I would spend money on medical workshops and certification such as CPR or first aid to enhance my expertise and competitiveness in the healthcare industry. Half of the funds would go towards technology and software upgrades, which is a critical factor in productivity and administrative work. Lastly, I would utilize the money to fund research experiences or internships in the healthcare field, receiving hands-on experience and being able to network with valuable contacts within the medical field. The $1,000 would be of significant help in being able to continue my studies and career, as I would have the experiences and tools necessary to pursue my goals within the health care field.
I would use the money provided for any tuition, loans, or resources I could need for college. By getting some financial assistance via this scholarship, I could stress less over the financial strain of college and instead, focus on my studies and perform well.
The career path I plan on pursuing is a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA). Becoming a CAA would allow me to prioritize patient health and vitals during surgery. The pathway to becoming a CAA requires a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, and a certification exam before entering the medical field. My ambition going into undergrad is to major in biology and minor in biomedical sciences to expand my knowledge of both science and human health. The College Confidential Goals Fund Scholarship would help me achieve my goals and aspirations of becoming a CAA by subsidizing my tuition, as my family does not plan on providing for me financially in terms of college education, and I also do not qualify for receiving financial support through FAFSA or any other need-based federal funding at this moment. Receiving the College Confidential Goals Fund Scholarship would allow me to focus on my educational thoroughness without such a large financial burden. Along with subsidizing tuition costs, the College Confidential Goals Fund Scholarship would empower me to fulfill my passion for both learning and helping others.
I plan to attend a 4-year school to major in criminal justice and minor in criminology. If I were to receive the scholarship, it would automatically go to my tuition to help my parents pay for my education. I have always been a good student, maintaining high grades and GPA I play high-level soccer and have a serious commitment. My goal is that my hard work makes it easier for my parents with my tuition.
I would hope to use this scholarship to help out my parents in paying for my career in the medical field.
Honestly, as an incoming student who wants to attend an out-of-state school and avoid debt, I am well aware of the implications and the work that I need to do to achieve those goals. I am going into criminal justice and neuroscience after I graduate from high school, so any amount of money would help. Ultimately, the reason I need as much help as possible is so that I can reciprocate when I am financially secure myself. However, to reach that point, I must first become debt-free.
