Being a first-gen rising senior, every bit of encouragement matters to me. In college, I will be studying Molecular and Cell Biology because I have always wondered about how our bodies work and wish to utilize that to become a pediatrician. Keeping kids healthy and happy as they grow up is always something that I had a passion for. Since college isn’t cheap, I’m doing everything that I can do in order to be responsible and help reduce my parents’ burden. This $1,000 scholarship would really assist me to stay true to my future without having to stress over how I’m going to pay for college expenses.
If i were to win this scholarship award, I would use it to pay my tuition for the upcoming fall semester, and if there is money left i would use it to begin paying off my student loans.
With the money, I would use it to support myself through college by buying books and other necessities like pencils and gasoline to get to school.
I would use the money to help pay for my college tuition so that I can double major in Music Education and Songwriting and minor in Spanish and Women’s and Gender Studies.
This scholarship would be highly beneficial for my education; I hope to alleviate some of my family’s financial burdens that will be coming in as I apply to college. Because I plan to pursue medical school after my undergraduate years, it is especially important that I manage my savings wisely from an early point so that I can be as close to debt-free as possible, thus allowing me to shift my concerns from financial stressors to learning more about my fields of interest and helping both my peers and my community as I study medicine.

I would use the $1,000 from The Goals Fund Scholarship to help pay for tuition to get my undergrad! Since the average cost of college has doubled since 2000, I will inevitably need it to help support my college journey. I plan to become a veterinarian, which will require a lot of schooling and financial investment. The $1000 being offered would help both me and my family to lessen the financial strain of college and help me get a head start in paying for college. Every bit counts, and I’m so grateful for being given the opportunity to win $1000 for college!
I would use the scholarship money to help pay for my tuition. I’d like to pursue a bachelors degree in ASL Interpretation, this money would cover a part of my tuition or books and help me achieve my goal of becoming a licensed court interpreter.
As a senior in high school, I would use $1,000 in my first quarter/semester of college. It would be life-changing to use scholarships like these to lower the weight on my family and I in order to achieve my dream of becoming a veterinarian. I know tuition is expensive, so I’m putting every effort to afford it.
I am requesting this scholarship because I have a desire to strive for what I believe would both benefit and challenge my unique mindset. For the past five years, including my 8th grade year and all of my high school experience, I have taken the highest classes possible in all subjects. From AP to state dual-credit to community college courses, I certainly struggled to maintain my 4.0 GPA and pass each of my classes, but I am ever-proud of my achievements. In the second semester of my junior year, I took five back-to-back AP classes and passed four of them, with two being fives. It is with these statements that I am certain that, given this outstanding reward, that I would be given the opportunity to successfully achieve my goals. This scholarship will assist me in achieving my academic goals by funding the education for which I do not have the funds to allocate.

As a Genetics major at UNH, if I were awarded the $1,000, I would use it to pay for books for school as well as pay off some of my student loans. My dream is to become a genetic counselor in order to help other families gain a better understanding of genotypes/phenotypes and the dynamics of Procreation. This Scholarship would help me on my journey to becoming a genetic counselor while taking away some of the financial stress off my family and me. I hope to gain your support and financial backing from your organization. This summer, I was a student observer at ATI Physical Therapy, and my experience sparked my passion for health sciences, as well as assistance for others. If I am awarded the $1,000 scholarship, I would use it to help cover the cost of college application fees and resources to help me further pursue a degree in Public Health Science, allowing me to focus more on building the skills needed to make an impact in communities through health and recovery-based care.

I would likely use the $1000 to buy a new laptop for my engineering program, which requires some not short of impressive hardware! As a woman in STEM, I feel it is very important that I have the most adequate equipment for my program to have the highest likelihood of succeeding in my future, and I feel this would be a fantastic beginning to my career.
