When I first heard of this miniseries, I thought, “why?” They already did a movie with Natasha Richardson - admittedly a long time ago - but why redo it?
But I’m loving it. It’s been many decades since I read the book, and usually I don’t like it when movies modify original works, but in this case I love how they modernized and updated the societal setting (such as references to Craigslist and the like). Makes it seem more real.
