<p>Wait, I’m a little confused. Did the number of kids they were accepting go down? Because the original number was between 65 and 75 students, which really isn’t that small of a number ([Harvard</a> College Admissions § Announcements](<a href=“http://www.admissions.college.harvard.edu/announcements/waitlist.html]Harvard”>http://www.admissions.college.harvard.edu/announcements/waitlist.html))</p>
<p>Anyway I too dislike the whole not knowing where I’m going yet aspect of the waitlist, its a bummer to have to always qualify where I’m going to college. But I’m also kinda glad they gave us some hope, however unrealistic it may be. Its nice to have my dream a little longer, even if I have to say good bye eventually 
however, thats just me and I am the first to admit i’m a little strange. </p>

16 reported being accepted by 05-26-2009, post #1053. Everyone who was accepted from the thread heard on the 19th, 20th, and 21st which was a Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This was probably the first wave.</p>
<p>Next wave seemed to happen on the 12th of June with about 6-10 more students from the thread accepted from the 14th to the 29th of June.</p>
<p>In last year’s thread the Z-list acceptances were scattered and seemingly random (although probably based on hooks which are impossible to confirm).</p>

<p>hey, so i just called admissions and the guy said decisions would be coming out ‘some time later this week’. but i don’t know if that confirms or disproves anything, because sometimes admissions gives conflicting info.</p>
