It was all worth it- the expense, the time, the planning, the dealing with the families…

My wonderful daughter posted this (on several forums):

"Since June 7th, (Groom) and I have been happily married. It was the happiest, most perfect day of my life. The reception was just how I pictured it, and the ceremony was so beautiful. We were surrounded by so much love and support. After the rehearsal, I felt that I wouldn’t tear up or cry too much at the ceremony, but on the actual day, I saw (Groom’s) eyes start to well up, and I knew I would cry too. It was so emotional and wonderful.

We have a few pictures that friends and family took, and a wonderful slideshow from our videographer to show you. We’re so grateful to everyone who was able to come to the wedding and to everyone who helped us start our life together with their generous gifts. We are so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives."

MomofWC: It just gets better and better, doesn’t it?

What are y’all going to do for the rest of the summer? Must be kind of quiet and boring at your house now…

Thanks for letting us share in the great story, it had all the elements: romance, suspense, tears, laughter, etc. Congrats to you all.

^^ I could do “quiet and boring”! Remember, I still have a son…although he is not at home this summer. I’m going to enjoy having a kid living in the same town with me for the first time (except for brief stretches) since 2001 when they headed off to boarding school. H and I want to get out to Colorado, and maybe even down to Florida if I can work out the vacation days at work. Oh- WORK- seems to be demanding some time from me! This weekend we are going to the Moon Pie Festival in Bell Buckle, TN where I will run a 10 mile race and then eat fried Moon Pies! D and SIL, my H and the dog will all come and we’ll listen to music and shop the crafts booths. It’s supposed to be a pretty neat event.
