@1214mom thank you. I see agreeable gray on her Pinterest page.
@momofsenior1 I have to remind myself one step at a time otherwise it is daunting. Our landscape was done about 22 years ago. Our soil is clay and needs major amending. Between the soil, drought and gophers our landscaping is now pretty sad. I also have to remind myself that we get a lot of spring and summer fog so have to keep that in mind as I pick plants. I’m never going to have my dream English garden lol. We have someone who will do most of the work but I need to come up with a plan.
I dream about the english garden too! I go to our local botanic garden, get inspired and then overwhelmed ; )
I love my Hansgrohe kitchen faucet whcih I bought at Costco!
it is still available from Amazon
I LOVE. LOVE, LOVE my Franke 36 " single bowl sink!

I had a Franke in my old house. It held up very, very well.
@momtogkc, I have an Oliveri sink. Mine has one very deep bowl with drain board - which I love because I hate, hate hate dish racks. https://oliverisinks.com/
I have a Grohe faucet which I also love.
My hood is a Zephyr. It’s very powerful.
I too love my stainless deep under mount sink. I didn’t know I couldn’t live without it until I started using it.
(Kind of like heated seats, ya know?)
Tight-radius corners are all the rage these days. We got ours from the counter top place, it was decent quality and only around $200. Something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007DQ1Y90/
We couldn’t bring ourselves to spend even $500 on a sink, some of those Franke’s were $1500-2000.
Thank you all! I love all of your recommendations but I am still looking because I wanted a single bowl, 36 inch, rectangle shaped sink and it is hard to find! I like the Ruvati but I can only find it in a farmers sink, the Franke looks great but it is not rectangle and the Oliveri is nice but the biggest single bowl one I see is 32 inches. I will keep looking and if I can’t find anything I can always go smaller.
@1214mom I totally get it - I live in FL and I still love my heated seats a few times a year! I really want air conditioned seats - someday!
@notrichenough I was just reading about tight radius corners - I do like that look!
My 36 in Ruvati is not a farm sink. It’s a traditional undermount. I ordered it at a kitchen and design showroom with my contractor’s discount.
36" is a huge sink. How big is the sink base cabinet?
This one comes with the rack:
The one think I will note about the tight radius sinks is that for whatever reason the bottoms are flatter than a sink with wide radius corners, so it can be a little slower for the last bit of water to drain out.
I have a 32" undermount sink and one thing I don’t like is the single piece grid thing that sits on the bottom. It’s fine, but it won’t fit in my dishwasher, even on the diagonal, so I end up doing more scrubbing than I like. The underside gets dirty quickly. I wish it was made of two pieces so I could put it in the dishwasher.
I also find the “tight radius” to be more difficult to clean than the old sinks with more rounded corners.
Mine has a little ledge, which is great for an cutting board to sit on right over the sink.
" I wanted a single bowl, 36 inch, rectangle shaped sink and it is hard to find"
a 36" wide sink? or one that would fit in a 36" wide cabinet??
Franke has 4 wide deep stainless undermount sinks that require 39" wide cabinets.
I agree that the corners are hard to clean on the tight radius edged sinks but I still love the look.
Funny, I love my bottom grid! So far the cleaning doesn’t bother me since I have zero scratches on my stainless steel.
I have the little ledge too and the sink came with a drying rack, a cutting board, and a sieve. The only accessory I regularly use is the drying rack.
here’s 2 more extra wide undermount non apron stainless steal sinks from Efaucets

Wow, $3100 for a copper one. Yikes!
^yes but the SS version is a lot less, lol!
Here’s a 36" with square corners for only $340:
Make sure your cabinet can accommodate a 36" sink. I recall @coralbrook 's saga with having to chisel out part of the cabinet sides to put in the sink which was ordered by her client…
@mom60 All of my trim and cabinetry are painted or are in the process of being painted Swiss Coffee. My walls are still warm creams and antique gold. I haven’t taken to the everything-gray look yet.
I have this Silgranit undercount, rectangle. It’s one large bowl with a low divider. I’m not sure of the exact size. It’s white with a granite-like speckle.
