@momo2x2018 The Allbirds are supposed to feel almost too small when you get them. They stretch 1/4 inch as you wear them. You can speed the process by wearing a pair of thick socks with them around the house if you like. They have a 30 day “in the wild” try out period that you can try them out before you return them. I thought mine wear too small with my first pair also but I promise you they do stretch!

Seriously…blinding white big tennis shoes are “in”? It’s all H will wear, in size 13s. Continuing source of embarrassment for the kids (and me, too). After decades of shoe shaming, he bought one gray mesh pair, which he “may” wear in July, as he says mesh is cold.
I can’t even get motivated for cyber shopping. Wish my recipients would give me any ideas, whether or not it’s in. I ordered an Amazon Prime birthday gift for D on Monday; it said delivery Thursday, then when I checked-out it said Friday. ?? What’s the point of Prime if it’s a 4 day delivery, in a major city? Is this to be expected during the holidays?
Is the thermapen thermometer still “in?” My son and his GF are very difficult to shop for, but they do love to cook.
I don’t know if it’s “in” but I just ordered my S a Thermapen MK4. He’s become quite the cook and this was something he wants but won’t spend money to buy. I actually bought it directly on the Thermoworks site. Still on sale today, https://www.thermoworks.com.

@deb922 have you seen Love Your Mellon hats? Their Pom beanies are the snap on/switch out style and they have Pom packs you can buy to change things up. They are expensive but they give half the profits to fight childhood cancer, so it’s a little easier to swallow

I almost never got him anything as he is very hard to buy for. I usually write him a very nice letter for Xmas letting know how much I love and appreciate him. And I made him a few getting out of jail free cards - like he could say the most stupid things and I won’t get mad at him. Lol.
I wear a 7 1/2 street shoe and an 8 in Allbirds.
I don’t know, for me an “in” gift idea might be a reason to NOT get it. When something is “in” it often goes “out” in a short time. I stray away from trendy fads!
I have never worried about whether a gift is “in” or not - I worry about whether the recipient will want it!
Finally, just because white tennis shoes are “in” doesn’t mean every brand/style of white tennis shoe is “in”. Fashion isn’t that simple!!!
Yes! I was just going to post about sherpa pullovers. DS actually ordered this exact one in cream for his GF.
Another thing we noticed was Champion brand clothing making a huge rise in popularity. In Nordstroms it was front an center in the active-wear section. DS commented how we should have invested before it got so popular - LOL. Good for them, nice to see another brand gaining popularity.
@Nhatrang I liked (most) of the jeans! D21 wants baggier jeans, but she’s a little curvier so has a hard time - sizing up just makes them look sloppy. Wonder if these will fit her??? I’ll have to show her the page.

I guess LL Bean boots are still super popular!! My mom asked which ones I bought for S19, so I was back on the website… they are out of pretty much all sizes of all the 8in boots I looked at! Very glad I bought S’s 2 weeks ago… he said his tootsies are warm, dry, and he’s not sliding all over the ice. He said he saw a couple people struggling to walk to class.
