The Indian Thread #21

Does Princeton really consider Indian applicants from non-feeder schools?

12 will be attending this year and they are all from feeder schools.
Check here [Princeton Club of India](http://tigernet.princeton.edu/~pcindia/)

Lol. I saw that weeks ago.
That Is what made me lose my ivy-confidence.
Yale falls in the same category, but prefers full paying applicants.

I’m sorry, I don’t know what you mean by a “feeder school” :P

Berkeley! That’s awesome! I’ll PM him :)

Then why do they bloody call themselves need-blind?

I love the American citizen part !! North and I, awesome. ;)

I did not get that post at all :P

Someone please tell me what’s a feeder school :P

Slayzaz: Feeder schools= Big schools which constantly send students to US Colleges.

Oh! Well idk if I’m from a feeder school… :/

A feeder school is a school whch literally “feeds” the students to Ivies and other top tier unis.
Like DPS RK Puram, Delhi and John connons, Mumbai.

Are u in any such school?

Mrinal, thy sucketh. :|

Is Mrinal an american citizen?

People from my school do go to US, but not loads, like one guy is going to Yale, one to UIUC, one to King’s(london) and another one to HKUST…apart form that idk how many more are going outside :P

DPS RKP is huge, each class has 1000 students
Our school has 250…

I suppose the ambani school in mumbai is also a feeder school :stuck_out_tongue:
@mrinal and north u both are lucky people with usa citizenship :p

What do you guys plan to major in and what colleges do you plan to apply to?

Sent from my HTC Desire S using CC

Well,
I am more or less applying to HYPDCornell and Drexel only. I need lots of FA, so I need to get in at an ivy.
Intended major- biomedical engineering or psychology.
I will be EAing at Pton. (not sure about it still,)
Or I will be EAing at Yale.

If I don’t make it anywhere, which I will let happen not coz I am working real hat for it, I will apply for grad school in US instead.

I’m guessing the D in HYPD means Dartmouth…why aren’t you applying to Brown?
Nice!
EA at Pton is Restrictive right?

I’m sure you’ll make it :)

And if you’re looking for FA, why not apply to Columbia as well?

Guys, after looking at my stats, what colleges do you think I should apply for (if I want ot major in Engineering) ?

Slayzaz: Engineering is competitive so no one but you can judge.

BEST OF LUCK and I will repeat, enjoy high school too.
And you have a very posh username. Jealous

What schools would you suggest me to apply to? :P
